m50 swapped 2002?

Has anyone swapped an m50 series engine into a 2002? Just curious, I know people do m20's and I was just thinking if an m20 fits an m50 shouldn't be that much more difficult.

m50/s50 family of engines is somewhat larger and heavier than m20.

Yes, in a few cases successfully, but the builder had extensive sums of money and resources. Do a search for more info. It's about a 9 on a difficulty scale of 1 - 10. You're pretty much reverse engineering an e36 from scratch hidden behind a 2002 shell.
