FS: 70' 2002, $1000 OBO in CT!

I cannot keep my BMW now because Ill be moving across country. Please give her a good home!

1970 BMW 2002, 41k on the clock. Recently stopped running and will need to be put on a trailer. The drivers side floor is in need of replacing, as well there are some spots on the rear quarter along the flare. The good is that it will come with a spare tranny and motor which was rebuilt and has approx. 20k on it!

Also included are spare doors and quarters, as well as 2 sets of wheels and an engine hoist if you want it! I've got no use for it in California!

I saw it tonight and I will tell you the car needs work.

140k miles.

you can put your foot through the drivers floor -next to rail

so it will need welding

passengers rail is dented toward back- but solid.

one more small hole underneath on passengers side.

otherwise not much rust underneath.

needs tires.

and there are multiple holes above the drivers side rear wheel well.

nose is very clean,

peeling paint on trunk.

fenders are clean, rockers look good.

Hood has some minor rust underneath

dash is trashed badly, nice sterring wheel

some bubbling under one of the doors.

spare doors are very rusty no good as a replacements

spare used quarter panel has holes in it & no good as a replacement.

paint doesn't quite look like picture - dull, maybe it just needs to be buffed?

He says engine runs 3 weeks ago, but it had stopped

- he doesn't know why?

Shock towers have been repaired, no holes but you can see repairs.

Comes with a spare engine, supossed 20k miles

- but it looks like it has 100k miles on it.

nice that it comes with an engine hoist.

dash it beat up, drivers seat is ripped badly.

Must replace rubber seals around windows - they have been taken out

If you are a body man and you have time, might be worth it.

definitely not a concours restoration project.

maybe a beat up track car or fun daily driver with some work

Not worth $1500 in my opinion.
