1973 BMW 2002 Project Rolling Shell Rust–Free

• Up for sale is an extremely clean, solid, rust–free 1973 BMW 2002 shell. VIN# 2590630.

• The shell comes with correct VIN tag, clean CO title and all parts pictured (side & rear glass), rust–free gas tank, F&R subframes, diff, half–shafts, brakes, struts/shocks, Suspension Techniques lowering springs, steering wheel, complete wire loom, ignition w/correct key, etc. BBS wheels in pics are off the car, instead the original steel wheels are included.

• This is a sunroof car that has undergone extensive and top–notch preparation for the ultimate restoration.

• The doorjambs, undersides of the hood and trunk, trunk, rear shock–towers and all fender–wells have already been painted Verona Red.

• This would be ideal for someone that wants to build a pristine 02 in Verona or you could easily change it to any color with minimal work.

• The rest of the metal has been primed, and then stored in a dry garage for the last couple years.

• This would also be a great shell for someone with a rusted–out/damaged body 02. Just paint it, and swap over the parts.

• Also a great starting point for a vintage race car, SCCA autocross car or NASA GTS race car.

• I have taken about 120 pictures, that illustrate just how clean and solid this shell is.

• Please note the pictures with the magnet, and notice this car is all metal.

• I have been in the 02 scene for about ten years, and have only seen a handful of 02’s this solid!

• I am also posting this for a good friend of mine, who is just at a very busy stage in his life. Please email/call me, and I will give you his contact info.

• Please don't email with over–seas offers, lowballs or ridiculous trades.

• PLEASE... Absolutely no tire–kickers, time–wasters or joy–riders!

• Priced fairly at $2,000/OBRO

It might be useful to list what parts are needed to put it on the road since "shell" can be rather subjective; sounds like some suspension and electrical stuff is still there, but no engine nor tranny, right?

I would like to buy it but my idea of a rolling shell is just the shell. i dont want the doors, hood, trunk lid, shocks, wheels, etc. etc.

Ok...Give me about 3 hours, and I can have it down to a shell for you?

LMK if you're interested...thanks.
