first I want to thank all of you for so much information. I am trying to convert my 4spd to 5spd. I was wondering do I have to change my exhaust system at all. I been reading and no one has mention anything about that. I do not want to start and realized I have to modify the exhaust as well.

Sy -

You shouldn't have to change any part of the exhaust system. You will have to remove it from the manifold back to gain access to the transmission.

Keep your original exhaust pipe support bracket and transfer it to the new transmission.
