Classic Car Insurance

INSURANCE for my 2002 Folks,, Does anyone know of an Insurance company that does not require one to have a garage? Appreciate the advice.

Do you have a carport? That will be the minimum requirement.

No,, I don't. I was going to build a garage, but the materail cost is so high in NJ that I left it alone. I think I am going to ask if anyone has a room in the local airport hanger. I'll see how that goes.

USAA, no garage requirements. They have, over time, broadened eligibility, so you might check them out. Excellent company.

usaa has classic car ins now? or is that just a regular policy? how do they value the car? i originally tried to insure mine with usaa, but they refered me to a classic car ins company as usaa would not write an agreed value policy.

just a regular policy. I had the same exchange you might have had with USAA. They first referred me to an (as I recall) affiliate of them for classic car coverage but it had restrictions. So, I went back to USAA and asked for a regular policy. No agreed value.

Got mine through State Farm. $7 a month and they didn't even ask if I had a garage... $10K agreed value on the '75.
