74tii Rebuild Updates

Dear forum members,

As the weather gets warmer, we all know that we have more time to work on our beloved cars. Here are some recent updates on my weekend project. I recently put in the trunk floor, and build a new floor on the front passenger side. Lots of tedious work, but I had a great time doing this with my dad. What do you think of that rear piece that i am fabricating? I cut that from an old 320i rear panel that i had in storage. I am getting pretty good with the mig welder!

During your tii restoration efforts, now is the time to convert your tii from diving board bumpers to smaller bumpers. I recently had that done on my 74 tii and it looks awesome. Square tail light 02's look so much better with small euro style bumpers.

Hey G-Man,

Your car looks sweet with the Euro bumpers. This is certainly something I will consider. I love the color. I was thinking of a similar color the VW makes. I think they only make it for the bug. Keep up the good work.
