what part goes just above the seat belt "pulley" b

located on the center support beam (that runs on both sides separating door glass and rear panel glass)...there are 2 holes for screws just inches apart from each other, the lower hole being used to act as a "pulley" or sorts for the shoulder harness part of the seat belt.

Is it for a coat hanger, the plastic floopy loop that one hangs on to for tights turns (or to prop themselves out of the car?!?)

would love to know what goes there....

thanks all!

If you have a sunroof car, it is indeed the attachment for the floppy loop. If not, then you could use it to lower or raise the seatbelt.

If it is a sun roof car, then the loop hand hold fixes high up the B pillar.

On my '76 parts car there was two holes down about 6" or so; the upper one was plugged, and the lower (2" or so) used for the seat belt.

I would think the plugged one is an alternative seat belt fixing for those taller people.

My pics are not the best, but you can see the seat belt hole and the plugged hole above. If you stare long enough at the other pic you can see the two holes on the B pillar and the marking way up high where the loop hand hold was.
