What to use for Re-Blacking Late Model Grills

Hey Justin!

I just use a regular washing, sometimes/rarely followed by a little detailing spray. Never used any blackening products on my plastic grilles.

Hope all's well. From your posts since I saw you in Golden, it looks like you're making tons of progress on your 02 - congrats!

I believe others have mentioned using the Wurth Trim Black Satin spray paint available at: http://www.goodspeedmotoring.com/wurth-satin-black-trim-paint.html

$9.99 per can and description as follows: Wurth Flexible Satin Black Trim Paint matches the satin black finish found on most cars and trucks with blacked out trim. Wurth Satin Black Trim Paint refinishes primed steel, aluminum, plastic and vinyl trim. Simply mask off the area to be sprayed and apply two light spray coats. Wurth Satin Black Trim Paint goes further with less product (2% solids compared to 1% found in other products) compared to similar products—a better value.

Good luck.
