I would like a black rear seat in excellent condition.

I have a Full set of beige/ grey front and rear seats out of a 75 for sale or trade, they are in excellent condition. Like new.

Have you considered dyeing it. I did it with a great degree of success.

I have a perfect one I bought on CL some time ago was planning to put it in the 1600 but changed my mind.

$200 is what I paid looking to get the same for it.

any problems with wearing of the dye. Thats what i would be concerned about but seeing as the backseat doesn't see much use anyways i might go through with it.

The seat hasnt seen any use since the dye job, therfore I am not sure how it will hold up. I used SEM vinyl dye.
