90's Flash Back

Tonight the movie "The Bodyguard" was on cable and it brought back lots of memories. So this movie came out in 1992 and that means I was 7 at the time. Along with this comes (bad) memories of Kenny G, "The Last of the Mohicans", and of course, my dad's first BMW - whatever that was but I remember the leather seats, could have been an E30, his girlfriend at the time was a gold digger.

At this point in time, we used to eat a lot at a restaurant called "Shoney's" - does this place still exist? They had the best popcorn shrimp and salad bar. Oh man I wish I could go back the almost 20 years for some shrimp and watergate salad. Good times!

How's the Maaaazda (how it's pronounced down there right?) 2 doing? Looks like a cool little car. I have always thought Mazda was one of the few cars companies that had any "Elvis".

Did Karl sell?

Haha, it's actually more like "Massda", like they actually say "ass" right! Things are going great with the new car, still no personality even though I did name it.

I resigned from my job last Tuesday and it was times like those I would either work on Karl or go for a long drive with the windows down. I was pretty bummed I couldn't do that this time. Karl did sell - he's in an area now where most of the Australians are with 2002. Haven't heard from the new owner since, so I'm hoping everything is going ok. Still so weird not having him here...
