1985 European 320 sedan with NV M50 conversion, Karminrot with gray M3 interior

This is true European model, not a re-bumpered US model.

Lightweight – no power windows or sunroof

1985 means it is over 25 years old so it qualifies for antique plates and no emissions inspections on some states (like Virginia)

ENGINE

92 NV M50 from a convertible

Compression 205psi on all 6 cyls +/- 8 psi

Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator with gauge

New radiator and starter

Entire intake track from air filter to manifold and injectors just removed and cleaned

Fresh oil and filter change

Both of the dreaded oil filter housing o-rings just replaced

No cat converters, resonators instead

Ansa muffler

TRANSMISSION

97 Z3 5-spd with fresh Redline MTL

DIFFERENTIAL

2.93 high lock LSD with fresh Redline 75w90

BRAKES

325 disks all around (Euro 320’s came with rear drums stock)

Fresh brake fluid

SUSPENSION

E30 M3 alum control arms

Billy sport shocks

H&R springs

Eibach polished front strut bar

Aftermarket thick sway bars with urethane bushings and adjustable end links

I just finished a major maintenance on this car in anticipation of using it for my commuter car. Went through all the mechanical and electrical systems, checking or replacing if needed. But, a new project just appeared in my driveway and this must go to make room.
