What's the next car for me?

I'm just sitting around in Alabama with a little too much time on my hands. So what do you think would be a cool next car? I would like to keep price under about $6k. I'm realistic about condition though. A model with fairly rough patina with ok mechanicals but no cancerous rust would be sufficient in the case of a more expensive model.

Any thoughts on these? What is missing?

e12 535? don't you mean e28? think e12 were only available in 530 form (big hood bulge and rear gas fill) and 528 (thin hood rib) versions. i had a 530 e12.

Hmmm, ok. Maybe I've seen too many swaps. There's a pretty good selection of them at least. I almost bought a nice one a few years ago but smartly I chose my e30. It's my DD.

W113 pagoda. Might be tough to find one at 6k or less, but an older 230 4 speed in decent running condition could be good fun.

Richard - E30 Cab. I already have my e30. It's my dd.

jeffb - W113 Pagoda. I have always liked them, but I think they're a bit too pricey this time around.

roadhog0 - 240, 260, or 280Z. A copper last gen 280ZX was my first car. I like the 240 or 260 the best. I'm for some reason not really into owning any Asian classic cars, at least at this time in my life.

Emyers - Volvo 1800, 122, or 123GT. This will definitely go on my list. Thanks.
