Thanks Joel! I think I saw an article about that car in a magazine not too long ago - but not with the depth of that on-line ad.

Simply amazing craftsmanship. No doubt Paul Newman spent a small fortune back then to have it custom built. Quarter mil - maybe it's worth that much to someone.

I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL OLD VW's WITH A V-8 WHERE THE BACK SEAT

SHOULD BE .

NONE WERE ANYWHERE NEAR AS NICELY DONE AS THIS ONE !

FASCINATING CAR & A REMARKABLE HISTORY TO GO WITH IT !

THIS WAS PROBABLY THE CAR THAT OTHERS WERE TRYING TO COPY .

MORE THAN A FASCINATING PRICE TOO .
