Great! Blunt & George have reservations. I told Mike Self that I am undercutting the Dayton-area motels once again. BTW: the snorkel you sold me is now fitted to my orig. style aircleaner and summer/winter box. Looks very good and matches nicely with all the other shiny bits under the hood! Drove my '02 on the interstate last night. (first time at 65 MPH+) Everything's working super, still needs a 5-speed conversion. Ran out of $$ for that item during the engine rebuild.

we got a free beer next door at the local saloon where we met whiskers, an guy that looks like santa

then off to yellowstone national park

probably my favorite park along with yosemite, lots to see

woke up to this, snow!

then thru south dakota where there is this to see

these guys are taking laser measurements of washingtons face to determine the wear rate due to weather

and the badlands, a nice diversion from the interstate

then off to steve petersen's home to meet up an start the drive south to north dakota

here we are at steve's in wayzata, mn

with steve is helen his mom in the car

our cars look like twins except steve's colorado is faded (not)

actually steve's car is probably closer to oem colorado than mine and is an absolutely fantastic car

then we picked up vince along the way near hobart, indiana

then all of us stayed with jim denker and family in dayton, ohio

a very big thanks to jim, his wife mary, and his children alec, veronica and ninie for allowing us to use their bedrooms for the nite. i can't believe we didn't take any pics!

we then met up with mike self from roundell and other 2002's for the drive from dayton to dobson, nc

then the v@v
