  1. It was on Ebay twice in September and din't make the reserve; the bidding only got up to $11 & $12k. Two months later two Bidders (basically) ran it up to $33k. We may see this one again on Ebay!
  2. I second what "conserv" Steve said. When I was in Guangzhou around 10 years ago I saw a couple of buses with a huge HP Printer ad on the side (from end to end). In the middle of all the ad pics was one of an Inka 2002.......go figure.
  3. They have had the Inka Targa for sale for 3 years that I know of. They won't budge on the price.
  4. Hi Gilbert, Due to lack of interest, I have junked the parts I do not wish to keep, and the rest is ready for the move in 2 weeks. Cheers, Les
  5. Was on Ebay Feb this year. Stated as a "non-runner" needing the Kugel thingy cleaning. "Buy it now" was $7500. Seller sounded like a Dealer and was in NJ, so the car is on the move.
  6. It was on Ebay Jul-Aug 2011. Seller's Ebay ID was oprah85 out of Sherman Oaks, CA. If that's not the guy you sold it to, maybe you could do an Ebay search for oprah85 and he may remember who he sold it to. HTH
  7. I wonder how you get a load of "perfect" parts off a 40 year car that was not worth saving.
  8. I believe the air dam is from Bav Auto. They did a set with fr air dam, side skirts, rear valance, rear spoiler for the '02. I have a set in my garage; still wondering what to do with it! As said, I think it was Bav Auto that sold these back when.
  9. See "conserv's" message in the Cars for Sale" category/forum. My guess is Sahara! http://www.bmw2002faq.com/topic/156891-1972-2002tii-vin-2761691/
  10. Those are the optional alloy wheels available for all '02 models from around April '71.
  11. The VIN quoted by Coys is 3635815 which is a '72 manufacture. The car was built '74/'75 and has square rear lights. VIN error?? Maybe 3685815?
  12. If all goes to plan, will be moving to Tennessee (about an hour south of Nashville). Parts that remain (probably most) will go with me.
  13. Hi Gilbert, Yes, the heat (for one thing) finally got to us. It's like being under house arrest from May to October. Looking to retire next year and don't want to sit in the house for half the year. Come on by, I'm home until early September, but can disappear as I'm "on call" so to speak.
  14. Will be moving out of State soon and need to reduce my parts stash. Have doors, hoods, trunk lids, fenders, rims, E21 Recaro seats, E24 rear seats. Couple of motors worthy of a rebuild, and several unknown condition heads. Loads of belt trim and misc small items. May also need to lose an 02 or two! Not in a position to ship. Parts located in Elmendorf (20 mile SE of San Antonio). Let me know if there's any interest, and if you need a pic of anything. lescartwright at juno dot com
  15. USA 2002s up to VIN 1660342 had this type of remote Servo/Booster, according to the parts book, and 1600-2s up to VIN 1563747. As noted in above posts, reconditioned ones can be had from Jaymic or Linwar in the UK. At least you only need one! A couple of years ago, I bought a pair (I have bought whole cars for less $$$) from Jaymic for my Touring. They were finally fitted earlier this year, and, so far so good.
  16. Way to go John. Only seems like yesterday I saw it with the trunk missing, hehe. We must have a celebratory beverage the next time our paths cross.
  17. All RHD '02s came with "3 point" arm rest on the left door as well as on the right door. The spare left doors that I have (from US '02s), all have the provision for fitting a "3 pointer" to the door except the cage nut.
  18. Bill, Here's a couple of my Touring. Somewhat tatty, but original.
  19. Bill, the vinyl should be trimmed and glued to the top of the cross-brace. Tomorrow, I can take a pic of my Touring, unless someone posts a better pic. This is the best I can find at the moment.
  20. The sedan's unladen height is 55.5", per the 3/74 2002 Owner's Handbook The Touring's unladen height is 54.2", per the 5/73 2002 Touring Supplement Owner's Handbook.
  21. Walloth & Nesch have the correct profile rear wheel arch repair panels for the Touring.
