  2. Email sent re front strut Bellows.
  3. Oh well. I think 3 have surfaced over the years. There has to be a few more out there somewhere.
  4. Don't forget to note the VIN for us.
  5. The Touring is E 6 Mike. However, that Mobile Tradition Site has it as 114 alongwith all other '02s for some reason.
  6. Really? No. Actually it was quite good when it worked. When it didn't, you had to thump the tunnel near the solenoid to wake it up. I had a hammer parked on the passenger seat (or floor) just in case.
  7. A long time ago (in UK) I had an early '60s Sunbeam Rapier. It had a 4 speed with electric o/drive on 3rd & 4th......so, I guess, a 6 speed.
  8. 114 = E code for most '02s LIM = Limousine (what they call the body style in Germany) 19740700 = 1974 July (manufacture date) L = left hand drive M = manual 2233 = production code for "late" USA tii (built '73-'74) Batch ID = ? maybe they built a certain number in a time period, then stopped for while.
  9. I'd better not change industries. I'd screw up in a heartbeat. Coming from the other side of the pond, i'm reminded...."two Countries separated by a common language"...he he.
  10. I think your VIN would be a Sep '67 build.
  11. Apart from a British soldier's living quarters, a Billet can be made of various metals. However, Billet is commonly used in the aluminium/aluminum industry. A steel Billet is commonly called Bar Stock (at least for the Mills I'm putting in). Hardware, to me, is all the bits and pieces necessary to mount/install the main piece of equipment, ie, nuts, bolts, washers. JMHO
  12. Maybe a Euro dash. They don't have all the lettering. But why would someone stick the fasten seat belt thingie on a Euro dash?
  13. Interesting, as are the prices. I'll stick with W & N for my odd-ball Touring parts.
  14. When I refurb'd the Touring back in '87-'88, I sold my other '02 ('73 Riviera), the 3.0csi and the 320/6 that I had, and said exactly the same. Look at me now!
  15. I knew that! hehe. How's it going Ray? Do you miss Tianjin yet?
  16. Car was in Pheonix, AZ, this time last year. Orig Polaris. Built Aug/Sep '75 Looks like a brother to my "Da Beater". You need a white roof though.
  17. According to the VIN stated, it is a ti. Colour looks off for Agave, or it's my laptop!!?? http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemnext&item=130664022477.html Edit: it looks Riviera to me, but the orig docs say Agave, although I can see it's been repainted.
  18. The phone number leads to... http://beyond2.com/
  19. I think all US '02s had twin barrels from the early '70s. Maybe something to do with the gas/petrol. When I brought my single barrel solexed Touring over here, I had to put a twin barrel weber on to get the same/similar performance I'd had in the UK.
  20. The Touring bumper side fixing holes would not match to those on a sedan. They are probably spaced the same from the back of the rear wheel arch but would be too far forward from the back of the car. The Touring o/all length is 4110mm and the sedan (pre '74 or Euro) is 4230mm, circa 4.75" difference and all at the rear. If you have Touring bumper rear sides, then your regular sedan rubber strip should be around 9.5" too long.
  21. Hey Rob, Da Beater has its original single tone horn. It's ok, but not as good (or as loud) as the twin horns.
  22. My Touring has the original stock two-tone (hi & lo) horns. I find these are loud enough and way better than the single horn on Da Beater. Good sounding horns too.
