  1. It had a "buy-it-now" price of $2500 on ebay a few yrs ago. Has the missing passenger tail light been replaced and the pushed in rear bumper pulled back out?
  2. Try Matt Groner. http://www.matthews-auto.com/ I have no affiliation, but he seems to be the one in Houston.
  3. Check this out. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,0/page,viewtopic/p,774347/highlight,/sid,fda671c9ffd75b039267024bf05d9034/ Guess this confirms the above was a scam? 1557182 (the Red one) was owned by Lothar Schuettler back in the '80s.
  4. Ha...I remember back in the day (UK) you would often see a Morris Minor near a roundabout with a wheel missing. Also Triumph Heralds broken in two.
  5. Hagerty wouldn't insure my Touring because I stated I took it shopping once in a while to keep it running. Called them to explain but got a real snotty woman who wasn't interested...so...neither was I then. Edit: almost forgot - I sent them pictures of the car under my carport and they also said they wouldn't cover it as it was not in a locked garage. I told the woman that I have a garage but they wouldn't see the car in the pic if it was in the garage. I think that's when she got real short with me.
  6. Here's an old pic of the car (well, part of it) - I was following. Was owned by Mike Kuhn (Dallas, TX) back in 2005; he sold it shortly after. Previously a Peter (Coupeking) Sliskovich car.
  7. Info that I have shows the 2004 Owner (Richard Scheer) quoting it as Pacific. It was having an M3 motor fitted at that time.
  8. The last Tourings were built in April '74, so, I believe, they should have trap mirrors.
  9. Try joining this group. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,0/page,viewtopic/t,318251/view,next/sid,ad88c6e316babfc6370b0ddfeeef3aa7/
  10. Well, excuse me! I was replying to Mike btw. Yes, slots are there, and armrests also came in Blue. Quite easy to find left side RHD armrests in the UK, and, at a reasonable price.
  11. Hi Mike, RHD cars have the same style left & right. I prefer them to be the same, so I've bought a few "left" ones in the UK for my LHD cars.
  12. I've also bought parts from them over the past few years; never had a problem. Always received what I ordered and pretty quick too.
  13. +1 and safety glasses for all the crap that falls down on you.
  14. It either didn't make its reserve, or it was sold off-line. It was on Ebay in May & Jun '08. The Ebay Seller ID was "dougsctm" and the car was in Chatsworth, CA. HTH I remember those holes when they were on Ebay 3 yrs ago. wow!!!! didnt know my car was on ebay before..lol...I got it in 2008 ....do you remember how much it went for???
  15. Many thanks. I'll add this one to my list. does that 48 include Duncan's in Salem, MA? I think you may have seen it when we posted pics last year. Scott No. Would appreciate any details.....VIN, interior/exterior colours. location. Duncan S., Salem, MA, 1974 2000 Touring, Original/Current Paint=Chamonix Quite certain this has been in his family since new. Very nicely cared for. I have engine pics somewhere.

  19. Whatever you do, don't buy a 2nd '02, or a 3rd...... I have to refurbish the Touring (will be the 2nd time) Get my Blue '76 project really finished. Get my latest Siena '76 to a running project. Fix Da Beater when it needs (fortunately it keeps on ticking). Part out and get rid of the other Siena '76. I have to collect parts for 4 '02s. I need to sell one or two, but parting is....
  20. That's 48 Tourings that I know of in the US now. If you go back, please get the VIN for me. Yes it is, sorry for the typo.
  21. I guess it's time I ditched my original coco-mats; the driver side is looking somewhat tired. The other 3 are not too bad. Can't imagine what it would cost to replace though.....RHD & a Touring.
  22. Have you tried ordering? When I go to that Site, it has a banner at the top saying it's a demo Site and you can't order anything.
  23. His area code (408) is San Jose.
  24. I remember the first one. That was the style most people bought in the UK in the 60s/70s. Can't remember seeing a round one over there. Fortunately, I don't really need one here in TX, although it has been known to rain hard here. From my days driving around Europe in the 70s/80s, people would (at night) forget to turn the bloody things off when the fog/rain disappeared. Some of those lights are blinding.
