  1. No 185/60, but a few brands of 185/70 here. http://www.gt1tire.com/servlet/Categories?category=Car+Tires%3A13+inch+Tires%3A185%2F70%2F13
  2. I have a pair. Some of the stitching looks iffy in places, but nothing has come adrift in the 2 yrs I've had them.
  3. Should be horizontal for less wind resistance!!!!!
  4. I've used Paintscratch, and there's also Towerpaint. www.paintscratch.com www.towerpaint.com
  5. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-98-BMW-E36-Rear-Upper-Strut-Tower-Bar-323-325-328-M3_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a10Q7c66Q3a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem53dbd8b52eQQitemZ360170698030QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories This one's cheaper! Make sure the brackets are a full circle (as shown, but sometimes they are not), then you can drill new holes to suit the '02 hole spacing. I've bought a couple of E36 bars and just redrilled the holes to suit. Not sure how strong these are, but it gives you something shiny under the hood!
  6. I was thinking the same - says it's a French car, but does that VIN plate look South African to anyone that knows better? Nick, The Moorkens factory was (is?) in Kontich, Belgium.
  7. great for me. It's still strange getting into the car with no fuel odor! Don Never had a gas/vapour smell in the Touring. It's one big open cabin, and, naturally, has the Euro vent pipe exit through the trunk floor. Now, both my running US '76s (have the vapour collect cans in the trunk) have a gas aroma from time to time. Could be another problem, but I will be going vapour collect can delete soon.
  8. I'll order it and see. At least I have someone to blame now - hehe.
  9. Yes, remove the window. Peel back the seal at the hinge point to reveal 4 miniature star headed screws. You will need to remove the window seal to get at the rivets that hold the horizontal "chromed" strip to the body.
  10. Nothing on the outside of the cap; on the inside is the number 4002. The distributor is model JFUD 4 and # 0231 180 005. My handbook shows a JFUD 4 distr for an Auto car (mine's not an auto). I replaced plugs, points and the rev limiter rotor (with a regular one) and figured a new cap would be good too.I'm thinking it's time for an amber nectar!
  11. All my other '02s are '76s and they have the tab on the Cap (like my last pic). My Touring is a Nov '73 manufacture, and probably has the original distributor.
  12. Want to get a new Cap for the Touring, but what is correct part# for my type? My '02 Touring Cap has a recess to suit the tab on the distributor. All my other '02s have a tab on the Cap to suit a recess on the distributor (last pic).
  13. Currently, 164 Euro ($228) at W & N, but shipping to US would kill the deal.
  14. Use the Alternator bracket at the front, and there's a hole near the back end of the starter motor.
  15. Kinda looks like the aftermarket twin headlight grill. I guess you could have extra headlights or just locate spot lights there. The so-called Alpina and my ex-Touring parts car (definately not an Alpina part) grills are for 5 3/4" lights (not 7" like the Diana).
  16. Here's THE pic of the Dianas. It would seem that all 3 pics posted are of the same car. Strange if it has two different (albeit slight) wheels.
  17. Here's another similar wheel - Cromodora. Not much help am I? FYI - your pic shows 6 star??!!
  18. The Inka Targa has (I think) ATS wheels, and the Dianas are very similar, but also different.
  19. Here you go. The ones on the left are: Turn Signal, right Turn Signsl, left Low Beam, right Low Beam, right Tail light and parking light, right: Licence plate and instrument illumination: rear fog light, fog head light relay Tail light and parking light, left
  20. Doesn't look like the Caribe i've seen. I thought Caribe was a light blue not a dark blue?
  21. I saw that ad and thought about it for a while. I think his price is way off, and your comments confirm that. Good luck with your search - not a lot of pickings in this neck of the woods.
  22. It refers to the taillight of a square light car; the other "flag" is for a round taillight car.
  23. Whilst it never hurts to try in the US, the 2000tii Touring emblem was unique to the Touring and therefore you'll have a better chance finding one in Europe. Perhaps Jeffrey (Mike's Dutch friend) could help, or contact Cahsel. HTH
  24. Nice one. Quick shipping doesn't come close to describing W & N. Ordered a pair of struts Sunday (email) and had them in my hand Tuesday afternoon (wasn't cheap, but still). Several years ago I ordered a complete front nose panel for my Touring from them. Ordered by phone Monday and the package was delivered Thursday. I cannot fault them.
