  1. Steve, well spotted..........reportedly it was originally Fjord.
  2. I think it looked better before they put the goofy ss bumpers on it. It did however, along with the optional alloys, practically double the asking price.
  3. What you need is the OEM Choke able for a RHD car. However, part # 13 23 1 354 545 appears to be NLA. May be worth contacting Jaymic in the UK in case they have one, or, may know where to get one.

  5. I have one original speaker cover c/w original speaker. I also have several wiper arms. How about you give me $150 for a pair of wiper arms and you can make some money.......or not.
  6. You have been trying to sell this car, in one form or another, for 2 years that I know of. ?
  7. Have you thought of selling the Touring? Might be the easiest solution for you. As John said, Jaymic & W & N would be the best source, but the E Code sticker is a non-starter unless YOU can find someone to make one. Beware of spelling and other issues on Oil & Fuse stickers.
  8. When you say it's hard to find almost anything for this car most Touring parts (mech) are the same as the sedan. What Touring SPECIFIC parts are available can be bought readily in Countries that the Touring was originally sold in. USA was not one of those Countries, however, in the USA, if you provide info that you are the Owner of a Touring (Title in your name) parts can be bought through the normal sources. Also check Walloth & Nesch in Germany for parts.

  10. Writen by Irish, produced in London...........so British? Another great British production https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=78b67l_yxUc
  11. Hey Gordon, I would love to know how you managed to fit a sealed-beam light (like the one in your earlier post) into a Euro bucket and kept it from wobbling around and be adjustable for beam direction. pic of bucket and reflector as per orig assy fwiw,
  12. you have 8" x 13" wheels? I understand your problem.
  13. The PO has Euro buckets; your H4 light recommendations will not fit. Check RealOem for the parts that are assembled in a Euro headlight bucket.
  14. As my Touring is basically a 'once in a while' driver, I just have the key with the small gas cap key. I have the same unmarked lower dash panel that was in there when I bought the car in 1986.
  15. The part you quoted 63 12 1 354 383 is Hella H4 lens There is also 63 12 1 355 002 which is Bosch H4 lens AND 63 12 8 650 125 Hella lens 63 12 8 650 126 Bosch lens Confusing! make sure you get the right one as there is obviously some difference from one to another, even if not obvious. Many years ago, I changed my Touring from RHD lenses to LHD. It was not a 5 minute job, and, if I remember, ended up throwing away the original rubber lens seal and buying new (also specific to which Euro bucket you have) after breaking one lens. Good luck.
  16. Apparently only members can see it. Kinda reduces your audience somewhat.
  17. There is this you can download. The pics are not the best, but the info is there. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/237034-bmw-1602-1802-2002-parts-catalogue/
  18. As you say, the Blue Books are 'same' as the fiche, but I believe you have Orange v Blue reproductions backwards. There were also some White folder ones, or maybe that was just the repair manuals.
  19. I have two '02 Parts Manuals (2 vol each) One is dated May 1969 and the other April 1971. I'm pretty convinced the 'Orange' versions were NOT earlier than the blue, but perhaps you could let us know the date on your Orange ones.
  20. I have one or two in my spares. Let me know when you want to come by and get.
  21. Check parts manual page 52/39 Here you find part #1 which is the Chrom Abdeckklappe
