  1. I can tell you that your car (2580122) was for sale in the BMW Club Magazine (Roundel) in the mid '80s. The Seller stated the colour as Sierra Beige, but I'm assuming he meant Sahara. Seller's name was James Hope of Jacksonville, FL, and he also noted that there was 75k miles on the rebuilt motor.
  2. American Hot Wax and/or Blue Brothers.
  3. 50%, or more, of the Buyers on here want free or as cheap as possible. 50%. or more, of the Sellers on her want a fortune for their stuff. Hehe!
  4. Third pic from the left....decal page to the left of the car body.
  5. The Seller has been trying to sell it for a year now. Maybe he should try BAT.

  7. Maybe different for Euro-RHD, but my Touring has a plug under the dash from fuse #6 for the radio (initiates from the ignition switch). Note pic of my ratty fuse sticker (has been replaced with a new one).
  8. That's probably the date it was first registered. A previous Owner had stated the manufacture date as 17 October, 1972.
  9. We used to call them 'Bottle Top' alloys before the E30 ones came along; somewhat like calling the '02 type 114 before some youngun' dreampt up E10. I have a set of the 'late' alloys that's been stored indoors for 20 years. Maybe I need to get rid of them.
  10. They look a lot like the Recaros that were in the famous 12 Dianas.
  11. The auction shows "bidding ended". Does not show "sold".
  12. what's everyone using to view the video? My 1 year old computer says I need to buy a codec......really!
  13. It was for sale 18 months ago in Pasadena and was Silver (Polaris?). Before that it was owned by Le Tran.
  14. Hehe. Just like the installation programs I did for our Mills for the Chinese. 36 hr/day, 12 days/wk to install in their time requirements.
  15. Send me a PM with your email, and i'll send everything I have on your car (pics/info). It has certainly travelled.....NY-PA-AZ-GA-WA-CO-& wherever you are located.
  16. OK, found more pics for you (when it was for sale in GA Apr 2020 .......... it appears the two lower screws held the plate through the rear panel wall. https://photos.app.goo.gl/iTZqTUZ4SNZWhoCj6
  17. The pic below is your car when it was for sale in WA in Nov 2020. It would appear to have had a rear plate mounting at that time. Check on the inside of the trunk to see if you can see evidence of where the holes were.
  18. Don't know if the UK would be interested. Took a lot to get Lancia to admit they had a problem in the '70s.
  19. Your supposed to make holes shaped as per the diagram below. Best of luck!!!
