  1. With the WN hi-cool radiator you shouldn't need the fan shroud. Why not try it without and see how it fairs.
  2. According to the BMW Blue Book Parts Manual - tall neck 46 litre tank began at VIN 2583404 which is the start of the 1973 models. Thus the short neck ended at the end of the 1972 models. You might want to have a word with MVP and have them correct their website & pay shipping charges for the correct tank.
  3. top right of the page, where it says 'search', enter 'headliner install', and.......presto the page below appears. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/search/?q=headliner install&quick=1
  4. Looks like 'Limey Steve's' old motor (car).
  5. Aha, the 'artist' formerly known as 'scooby'. Why did you change your ID?
  6. The previous (original) Owner had been trying to sell it for 3 years. At one time he wanted $17k, but the last I saw was $9800. I figured it would show up again real quick. Doesn't look like the current seller has done anything to the car......maybe washed it?

Hello Tom, I have a note on 1532991. I have the Owner as 02MonsterMike (Michael Schaak, Waterford, MI) who used to be on the faq board 15~18 years ago. I have no date for this entry, but it must have been around that time. Unfortunately, nothing more. Regards, Les
  10. Here's the manual. BMW_2002tii_Fuel_Injection_System.pdf
  11. Hi, I would contact (private message) D.martijn who is doing an in-depth restoration of his Touring.
  12. Looks Nevada on the outside, but Sahara-Manila? under the hood.
  13. A dozen years ago it had a 318i mtr & 5 spd.

  15. Hi, I just checked my RHD model 73 Nov '73 build Touring - it has a two-piece dash. Owned it 37 years and never knew!
  16. Enter the part #, the OP noted in the original post, in RealOem or Maximillian's website and you will see a diagram showing the part.
  17. The last upmteen '02s for sale at Oldenzaal have come from Italy..........that's why I wondered.
  18. W & N also do a Radiator for those with A/C, but a hefty price. https://www.wallothnesch.com/en/radiator-for-air-conditon-equipment-11-31-14.html
  19. Both parts of the latch/lock assy have slotted holes to allow some adjustment, along with adjustment of the buffers. Ypu should be able to close the hatch without slamming and it should not rattle (much).
  20. They added that (revision) a day or so later.
  21. I forgot this car had come along earlier. It was for sale in June last year and advertised as a 1976, after that it was a 72ti or 72tii.
  22. This. so called, tii is I believe a 1976 that has been re-vinned. Apart from 'late' nose, tail panel & bumpers, the added structure in the trunk and missing tii air filter brackets under the hood are clues. https://www.ebay.com/itm/114776784296?hash=item1ab93abda8:g:3akAAOSwrgpggKxf
  23. At the bottom left and right edge of the hatch should be two rubber damper thingies (same used on the hood). These can be adjusted, 'left loosey, righty tighty' so they compress somewhat when the hatch is closed. There is also some adjustment in the latch mechanism.
  24. You might want to try BAT again.......prices have jumped in the last two years. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1974-bmw-2002tii-71/
