  1. Having a remote booster/servo would put it no later than Feb-Mar '68 I believe.
  2. The Seller's first try had the sale price for $119 & one halfa$$ed picture. It actually looked good for that. Now he has it corrected to $11,900 with a few pics......not so good.
  3. Isetta rear wheels???????????
  4. I'll allow you to be Honorary British Ray, even after that bad Seinfeld accent.?
  5. Definition of motor ? 1 : one that imparts motion specifically : prime mover 2 : any of various power units that develop energy or impart motion: such as a : a small compact engine b : internal combustion engine especially : a gasoline engine c : a rotating machine that transforms electrical energy into mechanical energy 3 : motor vehicle especially : automobile
  6. FWIW, my info suggests it was a very late Nov '70 or early Dec '70 manufacture.
  7. They are looking for $6k. https://knoxville.craigslist.org/ctd/d/knoxville-tii-runs/7037830675.html
  8. This one was for sale for $43k earlier this year, and has been reduced (now) to $18k. May not be a steal as it's also an East Coast car that has had a little bodywork done.
  9. 2762020 was reportedly manufactured 14 June, 1972.
  10. Will be interesting to see what it sells for. It was for sale, California Exotics & Classics, in August for $22,500. I expect some BAT bidder(s) will exceed this.
  11. You didn't keep this one long (6 months). Nice car. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/243977-76-bmw-2002-sold/
  12. Scroll down a bit and find mo's72tii https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/134139-automatic-tii-was-this-ever-made/?tab=comments#comment-37935
  13. If your 1600-2 originally had a single remote booster, then the switch was in the end of the master cylinder. The wires for it may be hiding up towards the battery tray.
  14. Here's one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-SL-ATE-T51-BRAKE-BOOSTER-W107-W117-/382254429157
  15. John, Thanks for the update. I've ordered the Blunt kit & the individual o'rings. I have several valves & a couple of them leak past the small o'ring as well as the one in the car. Have to see if I can remove it without removing the Heater Box...….I really don't want to do that. Les
  16. Used to be known as "bottle caps" until the E30 alloys came along.
  17. Typical "Dealer speak". Seller states it's an "original specimen". It's had some bodywork done at the front, replacement nose or fenders or all. Seats are 1974, mixed up gauges.
  18. John, The small seal was originally a rectangular section seal, so, I'm curious how the "o'ring" one worked out. As it's been nearly 5 years since your message, if you've had no leaks then I guess it's good. Cheers, Les
  19. I guess the Buyer had 2nd thoughts as it's listed by the BAT Seller. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/bmw/2002/2350542.html
  20. Front window pic of same car. I honestly cannot remember how many clips there were; I think it was 2 on the front & 4 on the back, but don't take this as gospel. The car was a '76 if that makes any difference.
  21. Your second pic shows the clamp that holds the headliner at the front window and rear screen openings. No clue for the other one.
  22. Safety! Having worked with Aluminium I know what an ounce of water dropped on molten aluminium can do. Disastrous.
