  1. Silly me, I though it was going to be China?
  2. Current Seller uses all pics from previous Ebay auction when the car was in VA (maybe it's still in VA?). Price seems to have escalated somewhat. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1970-BMW-2002-Base-/193111680347?item=193111680347&vxp=mtr&ViewItem=&nma=true&si=K4xvK7B16%252FFsdI%252BvV2oBYagPT44%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
  3. I have always steered clear of (ignored) messages with bad English grammar. Unfortunately, with the invention of smart phones and the like, and apparently spell check that people don't use, I never buy anything.
  4. IIRC there are two blank keys styles for the '02s, so is this early or late? Also, where the heck is "City of Industry" in the USA?
  5. David, I bought the entire nose panel from W & N around 2005/6, knowing the day would come. It was just about $500 shipped to my door. Ordered on a Monday (by phone) and on my front porch on Thursday......couldn't believe it. It took ten years or so to get around to fit it. When I opened it up at the body shop (2016) I found W & Ns parts list and price list inside. BIG difference in the prices then and now! Don't know when W & N stopped supplying the entire nose piece, but it's been a while.
  6. Thanks Bob. Like the roof aerial, I thought it was only us Brits that did that to our '02s.
  7. Hmmm. Both W & N fenders bought for my Touring were ok. The bodyshop said they fiddled a little to mate them to the nose panel (also W & N) but the end result was good. Maybe they are designed to fit Euro models and not US models...….?
  8. I remember the Texas "Vintage In The Vineyards" fest name, from a few years back, really pissed some East Coasters off. Think there was a "cease & desist" issued?
  9. Pic #5 seems to show a 1987 date. What does that refer to?
  10. Here's a pic of my ratty Nov '73 built Touring decal. #4 fuse should be changed to 25A if you have the "rare" electric sunroof. (decal has been changed for a new identical one, btw)
  11. That Red tii was for sale on Craigslist in July for $2500!! BAT strikes again.
  12. Like the red one on BAT the other day, an excellent opportunity to flip this and make some serious coin. https://austin.craigslist.org/cto/d/austin-1972-bmw-2002-tii-roundie/7005410341.html
  13. Here's a pic (reportedly) of the BMW 1602 electric car. It was used in the 1972 Munich Olympics. So, how did it get 1974 steel wheels? Anyone have a pic of the electric car(s) in 1972?
  14. I'm with Krister, the inner fenders, with sorta kinda crumple zones, would indicate a '70 or '71. The VIN would tell all.
  15. Your deep to shallow VINs are as per the BMW Parts Book.
  16. He looks a little young to the original Owner. He's been asking that price for several months now, so, I assume there's room to negotiate.
  17. It was on Ebay June 2004 in Dupont, WA. Haven't come across it since.
  18. I saw that this morning and was waiting to hear it was a scam.
  19. They were actually stuffed in further back, I took the pic with it out in the open to remind me later where they went.
  20. Like others, I do not recognise those pieces. The only foam parts I have found (see pic) are the ones stuffed between the rear fender & wheel well. Perhaps they are a chunk that's come loose from these?
  21. Yeah, what Hal said. Can't imagine Germans using anything but metric, but, where did W & N get it made?????
