  1. Yes, it's uncanny the steep increase in BMW's parts over the past couple of years. You could send Sebastian a message and let him know what you are looking for. He seems to come up with all sorts of '02 parts. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/profile/52763-seb/
  2. If you have the necessary welding skills, to modify the front nose panel from '74 to earlier you can use just the centre section. However, I think the spacing for the 4 (each side) left & right grill mounting points maybe different.
  3. I wonder if Glas' designer for the Glas 1304 CL and George Bertram were friends. The Glas 1304 CL has an uncanny resemblance to Bertram's 1963 sketch. Maybe he went to BMW's Touring design meetings after BMW bought Glas??
  4. https://www.jaymic.com/1502-to-2002-turbo/electrical-components.html?p=4 https://www.linwar.com/bmw_e10_lights.html https://www.wallothnesch.com/en/beleuchtung/bmw-1502-2002-turbo/katalogbild-63-04.html
  5. I believe the original set is as shown on the Parts Manual page below (the long skinny rod was not included &, as Mike said, the screwdriver was used with the plug socket wrench). Many of the double-ended screwdrivers you see have slots in the handle, the original '02 ones didn't. Screwdrivers with slots are probably from the E21 & on. For some reason, the pliers were named "water pump pliers".....no clue why.
  6. Same Seller had it for sale on Ebay in 2010 (didn't meet reserve) It's changed a little bit.
  7. Searching might yield answers. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/146706-help-mounting-sunvisor-where-do-i-mount-it/?tab=comments#comment-951516 https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/129577-help-mounting-sun-visors-need-measurements/?tab=comments#comment-68600
  8. How times have changed...…..have they forgotten how they started & named their auction business. Maybe they should change their name to "Bring Lotsa Cash". I guess if it was a tii that would be ok.
  9. Search for member BlueDevils and chat with him. He is the seat belt guru.
  10. Now I know why she wanted a "Mecedes Benz"?
  11. Hated??? In the early ‘70s we had to run around in Morris Marinas, Austin Allegros, Vauxhall Vivas; don’t think us British thought these were the bees knees, it was what we could afford. Fortunately, we did have the Ford Capri. Generally, only the well-heeled could afford a foreign car in the UK. That video would have been 1971. I paid the equivalent of £800 in 1973 for a 1971 2002 in Germany, I could not have justified paying around double for the same 2 year old car in the UK. In the late '70s (working in Germany) I toyed with the idea of buying a new BMW 525. In Germany (admittedly LHD) in ran about £4000, where the same, but RHD, car in the UK was close to double.
  12. In your pic of the boot it looks a lot like Pastellblau, or, maybe Riviera. Email your VIN/Chassis no. to info.grouparchiv@bmwgroup.com and you'll get the build date and original colour.
  13. Is the Touring tii intake canister different from a sedan tii one? I thought they were all the same.
  14. Odd that Jaymic do not have them as Fay owns a Touring. Linwar shows them but apparently not in stock. https://www.linwar.com/bmw_e10_weather_seals.html As usual, W & N has them. https://www.wallothnesch.com/en/karosserieanbauteile/bmw-1502-2002-turbo/katalogbild-51-27.html
  15. Touring front screen is "taller" than the saloon. Trg front windscreen seal part no. 51 31 1 803 264 Filler for front seal part no. 51 31 1 803 265 Rear hatch/door window seal part no. 51 31 1 803 137 Filler for hatch seal part no. 51 31 1 803 138 Surely Jaymic or Linwar Motors would have; failing them, try Walloth & Nesch
  16. As you're across the pond, try W & N https://www.wallothnesch.com/en/karosserie-blechteile/bmw-1502-2002-turbo/katalogbild-41-30.html scroll down to the last piece Lot cheaper than over here.
  17. Open up the holes a "size up" with a drill?
  18. They should have put it on BAT; they would have got double?
  19. One I can recommend for sure, but not real close. Skip's Foreign Car Repair, Inc., 288 Highway 64E, Conway, AR 72032-9410 Tim Abendroth is in Shreveport and could help you. Don't have his info though.
  20. The current Seller bought it in May for $6k or less, and immediately (May) tried to flip it for $11,500. So much for Runs and drives great just don't use it enough.
  21. There was...….www.bmw2002registry.com......ran by Keith Kreeger and Rob Torres. It resurrected and improved the "original" Register/Registry that Rob had back in the late '90s. Unfortunately, Keith & Rob's also disappeared 2 or 3 years ago.
