  1. The car sold on BAT out of Knoxville, TN (by hognhominy) to Buyer in PA. The car has since been for sale (by the PA Owner) on Ebay & Craigslist from Jul '18 to Jan '19 &, as far as I know, is still for sale. This Seller has used the previous Seller's BAT description. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-BMW-2002-tii-/192773275655?_trksid=p2047675.m43663.l10137&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true
  2. And, here's one more from an Apr '76 car.
  3. It didn't get a lot of love on BAT, but sold for $10k later on Ebay. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1973-bmw-2002tii-6/ The problem with the transmission didn't help. Maybe this Owner fixed the trans hence the price increase. He's had it for sale since the middle of last year.
  4. Have you tried the UK forum? Better chance for a RHD. http://www.02forum.co.uk/
  5. According to the part #, it's 340mm (13.4 inches)
  6. Actually, we're more likely to say......happier than a dog in a butchers shop. Good luck with the new venture.
  7. Is there a good reason you can't post pics of what you have...….like can't afford a camera or fancy phone?
  8. I really don't know if I nailed anything. It just seems to me that the BAT players have more money than sense. I (think) I understand what you are saying, that there are Buyers that have a problem; pretty much like alcoholics/drugs, that doesn't mean these cars are selling for the correct market price. JMO.
  9. If the BAT buyers had looked on Craigslist a while back they could have had the car for $18,500.
  10. There's one for sale in the Parts for Sale section. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/240885-horn-cancelling-ringtab/
  11. That car was Ebayed 10 years ago, and it was stated that it was used in the film "Hancock".
  12. I guess it's on consignment for a Seller who had it on Craigslist, Grand Junction, back in January for $12,500. VIN is 2370572 according to the Craigslist Seller.
  13. From 2009 auction - quoted as Alpina A4S, 5 speed, LSD.
  14. That's correct. You are missing the seal that lays outside of that. I believe it tucks under the edge of the cover you have and collects the ends from the door seal at A & B pillars. I suspect the seal is long NLA just like your narrow cover.
  15. Try a post in the PARTS WANTED section on the board here.
  16. Have the Recaros re-upholstered in tan to match your interior.
  17. I think this is why the original BMW shift knob was just plain, so if it turns/spins you don't really notice. Stick a 4 or 5 speed shift pattern on it (or BMW logo) and it annoys the proverbial out of you.
  18. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/211329-workshop-manuals-which-isare-best/ The Factory Blue Books, Haynes etc., do give you a "how to". Also, this one below is good for the earlier models as it was released in 1972.
  19. The twin Servo Cylinders to be bled first, then go to the rear,,,,,,etc.
  20. Perfectly acceptable for some us Ray? A vise (American English) or vice (British English) is a mechanical apparatus used to secure an object to allow work to be performed on it. I have a few vices, most of them in the garage!
  21. So the car is still available, although your website shows it was sold?
  22. Hmmm; according to his website it has been sold. Not saying it is, but there has been 3 scams for BMW 2002s on Ebay in as many weeks. Tread carefully. http://www.euroclassics.nl/aanbod.html
