  1. It was born in 1973, so technically....................and, "Award Winning". I wonder what award it won.?
  2. The fender to nose joint above the blinker was a leaded joint and smooth - no gap.
  3. Yes, however, the bloody wheel fell off...……..I'll fix it later.
  4. Try putting your old sensor back in, I have had a new one that was useless right out of the box.
  5. I see new hatch struts in your future. The original set on my Touring lasted 25 years, I recently put in the 3rd replacement...…...not made like they used to be!
  6. One that looks likes this.....the one on the right. Although I think the white bit between 6500 & 8000rpm should be red (maybe?)
  7. Tod, I have nothing on 2763440. One would assume it's RIP as the motor survives and is good. Maybe someone swapped in an M20 or S14 and it's still motoring around somewhere...…..you never know.
  8. Ah, Worcester, MA? Morgan-Siemens-Primetals. Changed their name 3 times in the 6 years I worked for them.
  9. Here's what I have:- If you let me know where it is now, I'll add it to my database. Sep '05 Ebay Carrollton, TX Dec '05 Ebay Bedford, TX (Mike Kuhn) at Mar '11 in Whitesboro, TX (Glen Poe) May '14 Ebay Mansfield, TX Aug '15 thru' Sep '16 Ebay Alpharetta-Conyers, GA (Muscle Car Jr. Inc) for sale Aug '17 Conyers, GA No detail on engine or suspension specs. I had it noted as Anthrazitgrau (orig Fjord) with Tan interior from the Dec '05 auction, but later as Polaris (orig Fjord) with Tan interior from the May '14 auction. Below pics is from May '14 & May '15 auctions .
  10. RHD cars have a different exhaust manifold & downpipe, so as to avoid hitting the steering assy.
  11. And, remove all the plastic clips first, or have a bushel of replacements.
  12. Pop on down to me (Coffee County), no inspections, no nothing. If they had emissions here half the vehicles would disappear!!
  13. A talented lad. The addition of the dog, classic!
  14. At W & N they are €4,25 each. Part No. A18 21 1 103 237 https://www.wallothnesch.com/en/auspuffanlage/bmw-1502-2002-turbo/katalogbild-18-02.html HTH
  15. Basically, all the heatshields were for the USA 2002 & 2002A (not tii). The tii only had the center brg shield and the Turbo only had the front axle one on the pass side (according to the parts book). I assume this was to satisfy USA requirements.
  16. If you haven't already tried him...…...try asking Anders over on the UK 02forum. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/154594-the-66-bible/?tab=comments#comment-987418
  17. I was thinking of the early BMW optional alloys 5 x 13 (part of the Touring sport paket) which I think were ET26 (?) (ET30 was probably the E30 6 x 13 bottlecap ones)
  18. Ok, backspacing (as you measured) & offset (ET) are two different things.
  19. I thought the factory optional alloys had an ET of around 30, not 12. Am I missing something?
  20. I believe heat shields are an American thing, thus not on Euro '02s.
  21. This the best I have; a bit small but you get the idea. Unfortunately, I think you have to cut away the original single lamp brackets, but I'm still working to see if there's a way around that. Mine will go on Da Beater, so maybe not a great loss.
  22. Here's one place, but I'm sure there are others. They will stamp your VIN onto to it at CoupeKing. http://www.coupeking.com/shop/product/vin-plates/
  23. Ryan did a great job here. I asked if he could do a dimensional sketch and less that an hour later I had it.? I've had asked several people over a few years, who had the quad set-up, for a sketch, but got nothing.
