  1. Autoart did a 1:18 square tail 2002tii...…….not cheap! Not sure if anyone did a "base" 2002 for round or square light. Turbo, ti, tii are plentiful. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Autoart-1-18-BMW-L2002-TII-L-74-Red/302937829010?hash=item4688806e92:g:P5QAAOSwIgNXwrKG:rk:40:pf:0
  2. Per the Blue BMW Parts Book. Side Reflector, Clear - Part # 63 14 1 354 184 and noted as "only for USA cars in Germany".
  3. I'm not going to commit myself...….I'll get back to you later?
  4. It was on BAT a couple of years ago & reportedly sold, however, for the past couple of months, the current Seller has had it on CL and uses a lot of the old BAT pictures, so maybe it didn't sell in 2016.
  5. 1600 Touring VINs for 1972 - 3301999 to 3304339. So I would expect yours to have been manufactured in the first half of the year making it a 1972. Many Countries in Europe would date the car (on the Title) from when it was first sold, so it may have languished in a BMW Dealership until 1973. Send your VIN info to grouparchiv@bmwgroup.com and you will receive manufacture date and original colour.
  6. RHD have twin servos, so not interchangeable. Lucky for you, LHD servos are waaaay cheaper.
  7. Early or late (cross-hair) type?
  8. If you're talking about the lower radiator to thermostat hose, it shouldn't need altering, unless, maybe, you have A/C. The hose shown 11 53 1 266 452 fits fine.
  9. I don't think half (or more) the watchers/bidders read the comments (unless it's from Delia?). Questions were being asked about the interior, engine rebuild etc, well after answers were given. It will be interesting to see if/when this tii re-appears again.
  10. More (similar) here in Boston, but 6j x 14 ET45 https://boston.craigslist.org/nos/pts/d/4-100-italian-steel-wheels/6761982062.html
  11. It's been on Ebay, by the same Seller, countless times since early 2014. BIN has risen from $55k to $70k.
  12. Wonder why they chose RHD visors to reproduce? Surely they could have put the mirror on the right (passenger) side.
  13. When I was a kid in college (United Kingdom), I had a chance to buy a Triumph Spitfire which had the licence plate LES 444. The car was £300. Unfortunately I could not afford it, as my college grant barely covered my beer & cigs on a Saturday night. If that plate came up for sale today, it would be in the £4000 to £5000 range.☹️
  14. As noted before, it appears the 5 on the stamped fender VIN is not original, however, the other 6 numbers probably are. So the real VIN is 1667408 to 1667498 but not 1667458.? (that's a definite maybe!)
  15. That was when it was on Ebay. The Seller had it on Ebay 3 times in Jun & Jul 2017. It reportedly sold to the current Owner/Seller for $18,600. I think the South Carolina Ebay Seller was the only one that was realistic &, dare I say, honest. The current Seller (Peter) immediately (Aug 2017) offered it on Craigslist (Los Angeles!!) for $25k, then in Vancouver, BC for $37k (probably CAN$).
  16. I`m just amazed that no one seems to have noticed that both front seats are passenger seats.
  17. It's back! https://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-BMW-2002-Cabriolet-Convertible/283284739841
  18. Totally agree, however, if one must work up under the dash, the first thing to do is remove the front seat? It's the only way I can "comfortably" get up under there.
  19. The Craigslist Seller in Oct '18 stated it had tii suspension/brakes and tii E12 head/distributor & tii engine 2393082. Probably the only thing on the car that was tii was the badge on the back. The motor came from a 1976 auto. He was asking $7k for the car. The Ebay guy (someone who buys/sells cars) probably bought it thinking he had a good deal. He's come down from $17,500 to $12,500, so perhaps someone has educated him as to what he bought.
  20. I recognise that bar...…….it's in the US '75 & '76 2002 Brochure.
  21. I thought that too, but, most of the pics I have of 1502s show that they have the regular 1/4 vent windows. I can't believe they have all been modified, so perhaps it was an option, or maybe just the very last ones had the non-operable windows?
