  1. If that's 2761003, then I believe it was Bill Williams' Pickachu2, Dakar yellow tii.
  2. Copart has an estimate value on this one of $5k. Better value than the Bellingham one. https://www.copart.com/lot/43412478
  3. The lot number is 24325946...…….go to Copart & type that number in the "search".
  4. It snaps in. It's a similar idea to the plastic clips that hold the waist & knee trim, but without the dowel.
  5. Hmmm. Are you saying the aperture & fixing locations in the door for the latch are different for the '67 1600? The parts book only shows a different door for the 1600 & 2002 Cabrios. I thought you could remove the "unique" 1600 latch from the door, and fit the 2002 latch right in without modification.
  6. Strange one this. Odd that whilst claiming it is stolen, the price for sale is still there. The 4 pics of the car are from the Seller's Oct '16 Craigslist ad, and the later May '17 Ebay auction.
  7. This sounds like the "Euro" night-time parking thing. Didn't know you had it on US cars. If you leave you turn indicator in the left position when you turn off the ignition, the front side driver side light (Euro) and rear ds taillight come on, so you can be seen at night when parking on the street, Like wise, leave the indicator in the right position and the pass side lights come on. edit: you just beat me Dave. Leaving those lights on over night shouldn't drain your battery.
  8. I wonder how long it will be before this one re-appears? https://www.copart.com/lot/45333998
  9. If you can mark the position of the holes with some accuracy, and then remove the carpet, you can punch the holes with a hole punch for leather. After doing a few sets, I have found this is the easiest way to get a perfect hole. Put a piece of wood under the carpet where you'll punch the hole. You can get a Chinese set for around $5~$6.
  10. Don't lose those attached brackets as they are matched to the horn frequency.
  11. From a few days ago. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/227600-headliner-questions/?tab=comments#comment-1282557
  12. As said, if they are a decent price, get them. The trick is foreseeing what BMW will decide to make NLA next, and hoard those parts.
  13. '74 & on. pull back to flash, push forward for the high beams. If yours flash, but don't come on with the switch pushed forward, then join the queue?. It's logically a switch problem. Seems to be a few folks, me included, with this problem recently.
  14. There were two styles for the rear bumper; one for early bumper with no rubber bump strip and one with the rubber bump strip (bumper profile differed). There were no "seam covers" for the front; overriders were used.
  15. Rob (hack mechanic) had it a few years ago on Ebay selling it for a friend. It was in TX in the '80s. Current Seller has been trying to sell it for a year.
  16. You could by OEM for the '70s 3.0 cs models.
  17. It was on BAT a while back (same Seller by the way). Has a non tii block. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-bmw-2002tii-15/
  18. Supposedly sold on Ebay for $26k. New Owner will give it a spit & polish and throw it on Bat & get $70k. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-BMW-2002-tii-/323414977590?nordt=true&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.m43663.l10137
  19. 2578448 is a '72 model manufactured Sep '71. RealOem recognises base '02 models '74 to '76 AFAIK.
