  1. Ditto what Steven said. Familiarise yourself with RealOem or Maximillians website. You get a pretty picture with all the part numbers, AND, you can see what is available and what is NLA. Easy. Front Suspension.docx
  2. I think us Brits invented "red tape', you, in the USA made it an art.?
  3. FWIW - according to the parts book, Switch 61 31 1 356 193 is for USA 2002 1974 & on, incl your '74tii.
  4. How much did they want for the London bus?
  5. Like I mentioned in another post, the Seller had it for sale for the past 4~5 months for $42k and no takers.
  6. Think you hit the nail on the head there.
  7. Bugger! I thought my orange one was original.
  8. The Seller had been trying to sell it for $42k for the past 5 months...……..he sticks it on BAT and there you go. He must have trebled his money. Amazing!
  9. The Roundel Seller in '95 & '96 was in Atlanta, GA, and the ad stated Sellers name as Melissa. Maybe he didn't sell it in '89 & moved it to GA from AL?
  10. 2761750 was for sale (Roundel) in '95 & '96 for $16,500.
  11. A few years back this was a rare occurrence.....now, it seems to be the norm. We have a gentleman selling 10 pairs of fog lights so he needs 10 posts. Not the brightest bulb in the pack, and no consideration for others (only his profit no doubt).
  12. Here's a pics of the BMW optional headrest. Thanks to someone who posted them a while back.
  13. FWIW - the BMW Parts Book has...……. 51 31 1 350 309 - rear heated window kit, comprising switch, cables, rear heated window & panel for ? underdash. 51 31 1 356 372 - rear heated window kit, as above but no panel. This one is also called up for the 1502; guess that model was a real basement bargain. Someone better at deciphering the parts book than me may be able to see what EXACT years/models the above applied to.
  14. Later ('74 & on) had the high beam forward & "flash" pull back & down/up for the turn indicators. I have the same problem with my high beams on the Touring. I put in another switch and still have the problem. I gave up.
  15. I always thought red cars attracted the police...….well, maybe not that one.
  16. They'd look good in a RHD car!
  17. Yes, E12. Maybe '81 going by the licence plate. Here's a '78 that I had waaaay back. Baby-sh&t green.
  18. What a great sticker! Keystone serviced my first two '02s when they were in Bournemouth ("a stones throw from the beach"). BMW finally threw money at the Owner (Tony Heron) to give up the premises so they could make it a dealership, so he moved to Ringwood, where he lived, and re-opened his independent shop. Ah, memories. Edit: found a card from of the sales reps of the day.
  19. Hmmm, I know the feeling. Pics when we moved to TN nearly 4 years ago. Still have everything & there's just the two of us.
  20. It found its way to the West Coast. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-BMW-2002-2002tii/142907905154
  21. I had bought URO door seals several years ago ahead of my Touring refurb. I ran into the "bad fit" problems like others. I ended up re-using my old door seals over the window and toward the front (they were in pretty good shape), and used the UROs down the B-pillar. Worked out great.
  22. Model 73 2002 tii Trg total 724 (3430001 - 3430724)
