  1. It was on Ebay over a year ago (Gresham, OR). Seller stated it was originally Malaga.
  2. My '76 Sahara with sunroof (now gone) had this foam. It was pushed well into the gap; I pulled it out to take a pic. It was quite a sculptured piece of foam.
  3. Aha, I took a little time to read my info. 2551 - LHD 2002 from 1/68 1600001 to 8/73 3652610 2552 - LHD USA 2002 - 2/68 1660001 to 8/73 2593704 2553 - for RHD 2002 & 2554 for 2002ti, etc..
  4. 2551 is the code no. for Euro 2002s between VIN 1600000 & 1650000. However, RealOem shows it as 2552 for this range ???
  5. You were lucky. Back in 1987 I had my Touring repainted; it had no colour sticker, and BMW were as usefull as tits on a teddy bear. So, we matched it to the paint under the dash and got Jadegrün. Only after the internet was invented did I find out that no Tourings were produced in Jadegrün, it was Amazonsgrün!!!!
  6. It's in my "database". It was on Ebay June 2006. Ebay Seller's ID was "newcourtauto" (I assume a Dealer), in Syracuse, NY. It sold for $4002 to Ebay Buyer ID "heske0725". As stated in auction - has 0 miles on a rebuilt motor and has some rust but is solid.
  7. Shame! In 2006 (Ebay) it reportedly had 0 miles on a rebuilt motor.
  8. I recognise those parts (fender, door, seats) as they were mine. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/207497-my-71-rebuild-project/?tab=comments#comment-1254463
  9. VIN 2578665. Has a "74-'76" gauge cluster, dash, seats & trunk lid. It was on Ebay (Seattle, WA) a year ago with a "buy it now" of $20k. Maybe the same Seller?
  10. +1 for Rick Borth. I understand he has a proper workshop now, but, many years ago when he repaired my Touring's speedo (it's still going strong) he worked in a room in his house. Can't imagine any Austin '02ers needing to go anywhere else.
  11. Special!!? Delivered February 31st ?
  12. Here's the new Owner of said car back in March this year. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/216051-first-bmw-2002/?tab=comments#comment-1242544
  13. It does look better than it did last August (for sale for $5200).
  14. The one in Seabago has been for sale (same price) for over a year. You should be able to get him down on price, as that's probably why it hasn't sold (assuming what he says about the car is true).
  15. I knew I'd seen those pics before somewhere. The engine bay is not a '68...….inner fenders are the later type (nor is the colour Caribe).
  16. Click on the website in Simeon's post, then click on "where to buy".
  17. If it's any help, below are pics of my Touring's tank & sender. 3 wires attach to the sender. The low fuel light comes on a nano second before the car splutters to a stop. The Owner's Handbook for the Touring states tank capacity as 11.4 imp gallons (52 litres), but the Blue Parts Book shows only a 55 litre tank for the Touring. Likewise the sedans Handbook shows 11 imp gallons (50 litres) and the Parts Book shows 51 litres. THIS IS WHY IT IS USEFUL TO HAVE A LOW FUEL WARNING LIGHT?
  18. 1665747 was for sale in the Apr '97 Roundel. Seller was Bill (2nd Owner) & he had bought the car in 1976. Car was in CA, but Seller was in NH (!?). Car stated to have 166k and had been stored since 1991.
  19. He was part of/working for, Beyond2, Burlingame, CA. Not sure if the place is still going as no update for a few years. http://www.beyond2.com/home/
  20. Yes, & even better if you have the 3.45 diff to match.
  21. Have you posted it on www.02forum.co.uk/ As it's for early RHD tiis, you may have better audience. My RHD Touring has a 140mph speedo, but the ratio is 1.297 to match a 3.64 diff.
  22. FWIW - you have the right side (looking at the back of the car). W & N have the right side reflector listed if you wanted to make it complete.
