Many, many, years ago I was with a couple of colleagues in the bar at a hotel in south Wales (we were doing a Xmas shutdown job at a local aluminium plant). A large group came in and one person in particular looked familiar to all 3 of us. We were trying to think of which local steel or aluminium company he probably worked for when the barman overheard us and told us it was Tom Jones.

2760001 was alive in Sacramento a few years back awaiting a restoration. Tom Jones ('02 man, not the singer) know the whereabouts of this car.

Oops, my mistake. I guess I got dyslexic or something. Must get new glasses. Sorry about that. However, it was on Ebay back in 2007 and the Seller stated the mileage as 140k.

The seller's explanation was that he bought the car from a lady (owner of fifteen years) who had only recently moved to Austin from Florida. Last time she had it registered in Fulton county was 2014, so it sat from then until January, when he bought it off her. He claimed that it ran when he bought it and that she drove it occasionally around the block. The Lady was selling it Dec '16 for $5600 via Auto Trader. It was stated she owned it 12 years then. From what I can see from the few pics, the current Seller appears to have done little (if anything) to the car except jack the price up (he wanted $10k last month). -
Oooh. I have a similar Personal wheel, dated '68, & the holes are for countersunk screws. Interesting. -

The needles blend in with the white background. I painted mine red so I could see them.
