  1. I also believe 1562153 was the last built in '67. However, the 2011 Owner of 1562154 stated his was built 12/67, so I erred on the safe side
  2. I think he meant the 19th built in 1968. 1562153 or 1562154 was the last ('68) built in 1967.
  3. Anyone with a Manila or Turf early car should jump on these stickers. AFAIK italic stickers are not available.
  4. Apparently it's being auctioned in two places; Seaford, DE, also. https://www.copart.com/lot/28342508 FYI it's an ex Select Classics car.
  5. 2760044: In the '90s it was owned by Ed Walker, Nova Scotia. Sep '14 it was at Enviro Metal Recyclers, Cold Lake, Alberta, and thought destined to be RIP. HTH
  6. Car was owned by JackF on this board, so maybe he will chime in where the apparent Euro dash came from. The car sold for $38,500 in an RM Auction in Detroit back in 2015.
  7. Maybe you ended up with NLA Touring B-Pillar trim; it's about 3/8" taller (longer).
  8. Apparently used ones are more expensive than new. Maybe new ones are uro reproductions
  9. Sorry to hear that. FWIW both cars were for sale/auction recently. 2590761 Flat Black (orig Malaga) Hemmings Seller (3rd Owner), Cape Neddick, ME. Aug '17 2741384 Fjord. Ebay Seller, Woodland Hills, CA. Feb '18
  10. That would be a '71-'73 rear bumper that has the rubber strip wrapped around it.
  11. The Touring model had different (longer) wiper arms to make up for the angle of the windshield (different from the saloon models).
  12. Excellent! Keith converted to an "over-rider less" rear bumper. You would rarely (if ever) see a '74+ '02 in Europe with rear over-riders.
  13. The top of the blinker opening on one side was "bowed" downward. Once unbowed the blinker, complete with new gasket/seal went in with a gentle tap. Regarding the blinkers.......they look good.
  14. I guess i was lucky. My local (never seen an '02 before) body shop had only a minor problem with the W & N fenders matching up to the W & N supplied BMW nose panel on my Touring. I did have to massage the blinker opening slightly.
  15. The one stamped on the inner passenger fender should be the original. The metal tag on the fender and the steering column one can be removed.
  16. I bought some early last year, and, as you say, only one (long) length was available then.
  17. FWIW: 2761742 - in 2009, car was owned by Corky Benson, NC. Car was Inka & had M2 mtr, 5 spd & LSD. May still be motoring along somewhere.
  18. Bert used to have a few behind the shop, but his neighbours wanted them gone (I relieved him of one). Not sure if he still has a few back there now. He does have a super Chamonix 72tii that he treats with kid gloves that is (was) parked inside. A few years ago he was having another restored.
  19. For 15 years I drove my Touring around SAT and only a couple of times saw another '02. Had to drive over to Berts Motor Werks (Tezel Rd) to see another. Now in Manchester, TN, and it's waaaay worse.
  20. Here's a few pics of 1600 GT motors. HTH
  21. Yes. Rare Rides aka Ebay Seller "spif100". It was on Ebay December 2017 and, like almost all his auctions, it ended early. Some of the new Ebay auction pics are Rare Rides pics.
