  1. 51 36 1 831 670 - That's the vertical seal at the b-pillar. I re-used my old ones as they were NLA when I did the refurb of my Touring 6 years ago, and, honestly, my old ones were ok. My problem was the long rear side Trg vent window seals. I bought new sedan ones and 'extended' them. A few months after I finished, W & N started selling ones for the Touring!! (I have those now for spares). I honestly don't know what the difference is between the sedan & touring b-pillar seals, apart from the length/height. The Touring chrome cover piece is about 8~10mm longer the the sedan version. If it's only the length that's different, then extending may be the only answer. Try Jaymic in the UK; you never know what they might have. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
  2. I'm sorry. Guess I was thinking of a diferent car. Getting way too old.
  3. It's a while since I did it; hope my memory is correct. Place the washers between the hinge (outside face) and the captive nuts. Can be tricky getting them (3 per hinge?) in there. Wonder if you could make up a 2 or 3 mm shim to get all 3 fixings in one go?
  4. The best I coud do with a straight edge pressed up against the b-pillar end was ~7/8mm. Not easy single-handed. You may need a washer or two between the door and the hinge to push it out at the a-pillar end.
  5. Maybe we should make it complicated, so, nothing gets done. JMHO.
  6. Hell of a lot of work for $500. What is the item circled in red; did tii manifolds have that.
  7. Really!!?? Look at conserv's pic(s). Serrations were there for a reason.
  8. FYI - the wiring diagram for a Touring includes item 80 - 'terminal for rear window wiper' I don't know if BMW ever sold a rear wiper as an accessory, but they provided a terminal. I guess it would run when the front wiper was running.
  9. This is the normal/usual handbrake cover - part # 34 41 4 660 109. However, it has been superceeded by part # 34 41 1 116 435 which is the later style in kiva's picture. Blunt has it for $5.61. I think it changed sometime in 1975 and the later style was used on the E21 cars. I put one on my Touring.
  10. I believe it was attached to some RHD 1600-2s. Maybe demonstration cars back then.
  11. I think I know what you are getting at, but, it wouldn't be considered a 1967 either in Europe. So what should we call it? The changeover from 1509999 to 1510000 was 17/18 November 1966 and in Europe the remaining 6 week production would also be noted as 1966. It would be interesting to know if there were any major changes between cars 1509999 & 1510000.
  12. I think your best bet for the vent window would be to contact one (or both) of the faq German Sellers (enoz05 & Seb in the Parts For Sale column). There's a better chance of finding one in Europe. Walloth & Nesch have the Touring front windshield (clear glass) for a decent price. https://www.wallothnesch.com/en/front-window-for-all-touring-models-you-need-1-for-1-car-51-27-04.html Although it may be safer to order one, and pick it up, at your local BMW Dealer (albeit expensive). That's what I did about 10 years ago for my Touring to ensure it was in one piece before I accepted it.
  13. Interesting sticker. 2732355 would be a late 1973 (Dec?) build Euro 2002tii, for sure not Feb '75. Your car, if originally a USA Auto, would be VIN 238XXXX.
  14. We'll see it again soon. Quick mtr rebuild, dust off and detail and priced at $20+k.
  15. OR, a shower curtain rod from Walmart😉
  16. There was a USA version?
  17. With just 25,556 actual documented miles (41,128 KM), this BMW 2002 is a collector's dream! Really!😂
  18. What happened to the car the parts were in - 2761579 ??
  19. Was your car retrieved from a lake? Can't imagine that happening without a severe water/rain leak.
  20. You would have thought he'd fixed his keyboard by now.
  21. Pretty sure I have one in the garage. If you can make it to Manchester, TN, you can have it. Let me know if you still need and I'll root it out.

  23. Seems to me, Sellers in CA appear to (try &) set the price of most "02 parts. JMHO.
  24. FWIW When the car was in Canada and WA it had the famous 'snorkle'. Later, in CA, it had (at least) a repaint and the 'snorkle' disappeared. @RJT79 if you would like what pictures I have, PM me with your email & I'll send them to you.
