  1. Try messaging faq member fjinva. He owned (maybe still does) the car.
  2. I believe the "rubber support" is the rubber piece that sits between the front licence plate and the bumper. You can just make it out on my car.
  3. Euro cars (maybe not US ones) have the dash red light come on when you get down to the fuel tank reserve. The handbook states when the reserve light comes on there is enough fuel for about 30 miles. Therefore the sender should register if you about an imperial gallon in the tank.
  4. Hi Steve, They are the original seats. I still have the front seats but the cloth (corduroy-ish) did not wear well. They were pretty well wrecked by 70k miles. For years (before the internet!) I looked for the same material to have the fronts repaired but never found any. I had them covered with sheepskin-covers and, unfortunately, do not have a picture of them without. Now I have the Recaros, I did think of having the rears done to match, but, as they are in such good condition, it would have been a crime. The new carpeting is curtesy of Esty, and, I think, looks great. Originally the rear was the normal black-grey which really didn't match the tan carpet in the seating area.
  5. Driver side from harness. Passenger side (ground) somewhere below the C-pillar/ window.
  6. Even cheaper here. https://www.getbmwparts.com/parts/index.cfm?make=BMW&year=&searchText=64111353352&action=oePartSearch&siteid=214672
  7. Steve, A Seller (3rd Owner) in Miami, who bought it in southern Spain 2013, had it on Ebay several times from Sep '14 to when (I think) it finally sold Jan '17, probably to the Dec Ebay Seller.
  8. Manufacture 7 Feb '75 and delivered to Madrid, Spain, 21 Feb according to the December Ebay Seller.
  9. Can't believe you guys missed this one on BAT. It sold (December) for $34k, so now dickybarb wants $47.9k; nice "flippin'" profit!
  10. Was on Ebay in December in Portland, OR. Don't know if the Seller moved to CA with his car, or it was snagged by a Flipper. Had a rust issue or two.
  11. Tourings did not, apparently, come with rear belts as standard, only the fronts, although I'm sure they could be ordered. What is in my Touring is generally what was fitted (over the shoulder), either aftermarket or factory ordered.
  12. Interesting that it has dome light & grab handles for/from a sunroof car, but no sunroof.
  13. I didn't record the winning bid price. Was it the guy before him that owned it 35 years?
  14. FWIW: the car was on Ebay Sep 2004 in Kaysville, UT.
  15. What Martin said, and/or, put a want message on the UK website. http://www.02forum.co.uk/
  16. Hi Esty, It's pretty much done; I really need to send you some pics of the carpet; looks great. As soon as I can get it out of the garage (snow-cold). Regards, Les

  18. You might get lucky.........during the stripdown/rebuild of my Touring I noticed that there never were any screws there (no holes in the dash, only the metal support).
  19. It does look somewhat like Condorgelb, however, I think that was only available on the Cabrios and maybe early Targas.
  20. Ok, hotel booked. Let's hope I have a better ending than the last visit. Should never have bought that T-shirt!
  21. I may be wrong, but it looks to have Euro headlights-buckets.
