  1. Regarding the remote booster. Pics that I have show that the '68 1600-2 had a remote booster up to around VIN 1563900 (Mar~Apr '68?), after that BMW used the servo with the mounted master cyl with the piggy-back reservoirs. HTH
  2. It is used for both the early & later chrome bumpers. Go to previous part book page (51/6) and it is item # 19.
  3. FWIW the old part # 11 62 0 743 100 was for the US tii and ALL Euro 2002s (cabs, Trg, tii etc., except the Turbo) according to the BMW Parts Book. So, apart from weighty shipping costs, there should be a bunch of these manifolds on the other side of the pond.
  4. Ha! I have a T-shirt, bought at MadDogs, Hong Kong, in the '90s.....Save a Whale!, harpoon a Norwegian. Went down like a lead balloon as I was working with Noggies at a shipyard in S. Korea.
  5. Been for sale since around April when it was priced at $13k. Don't know if it has changed hands since then.
  6. Great pics!! Your valuable part is not the same........ As this 2002 one It looks like this one.
  7. Another of the various current commercials that you have to wait right until the end to find out what they are advertising.
  8. You didn't mention what he was driving, so, I assumed...........
  9. The PVGP has listed Hotel partners, at special rates, if you want to veer away from the O'Fest one. http://www.pvgp.org/hotels-travel/
  10. When it was on Craigslist & Ebay in May '17 (you?, or was that when you bought it?) it was stated it had a salvage title. I guess this would lower the price for some.
  11. Thanks for the info. So Greenville Seller is a hopeful flipper.
  12. Interesting fit of the Flares. Maybe when the tyres were rotated the Flares stayed with the tyre! Altogether a mystery car. The VIN quoted is for a 1970 2002 that was assembled in Uruguay (from the info that I have), but the car appears to be a "late" 1602. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-BMW-2002/132426454247?hash=item1ed53b54e7:g:SiAAAOSwFyhaKS9S&vxp=mtr
  13. Where in the World are you located?
  14. Is the current Seller (Greenville) the same as the previous (Lenoir) Seller?
  15. W & N has the Tyre pressure one, although I'm not sure if it is an exact copy (font thickness?). The other one I have never seen for sale. https://www.wallothnesch.com/en/sticker-air-pressure-1971-1973-51-15-04.html

  17. This car was on Craigslist in Lenoir, NC, in September for $17,500, which included some spares. Whilst some of the pics are the same, it is now pushing 300 miles away in Greenville, NC, and $26k. Same Owner, Flipper????
  18. I'm always wary of ads with dodgy English. Can't spell, don't use capital letters in the right place. Suspicious.
  19. Interesting. This pic was part of a Craigslist for sale ad last month (Mtn Brook, AL). I assume you have now decided to keep it.
  20. W & N do a 7500km oil sticker, but the layout is wrong. Be careful what you get also; the sticker below came in a set. Whilst the layout is correct, where it states über 30C, it should have a + and not a - !!!
  21. Here we go........... Jun '06 - Ebay - Duluth, MN Jul '13 - Ebay - Duluth, MN Jul-Sep '17 - Craigslist & Ebay, Atlanta, GA Nov '17 - Craigslist - Mountain Brook, AL Didn't know "Brian Nguyen" had the car, although the one pic (above post) was in the Craigslist Ad Jul '17. It used to have "flares" on the rear arches.
  22. Maybe this pic will help you decide if you're missing anything. It's the one in my Touring & probably the original (I've owned the car 31 years) and is working just fine. This 2nd pic shows the two parts at the bottom of the tube/can.
