  1. Great. Yes, please let me know when available.
  2. He wanted $8k for it in August. $4500 is more realistic.
  3. Darn it They are all cross-hair ones.
  4. Hehe. I do have a couple of spare 140 speedos Ray. Seeing how prices have skyrocketed, one must be worth $1000.
  5. As far as I know (I have full service history) it is original to the car, which I bought in 1986. Reportedly they were only installed on RHD tiis, so maybe the reports are wring.
  6. No they are not damaged. Both sides are similar with the gap in the same place. These were bought through BMW to get away from URO.......so much for that. I'll not wash the car or take it out in the rain!!! They are actually sedan seals that I had to extend, as BMW, in their wisdom, made the Touring ones NLA.
  7. Hope when you finally get them in, they fit better than my new ones. The rubber is a lot softer than the originals.
  8. My Nov '73 built RHD Touring has a heated rear window & combined fan speed switch lower left in the dash binnacle. Maybe Europe '02s or Tourings or both were different than US '02s.
  9. Here's an interesting '72 on BAT. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-bmw-2000tii-touring/ Took the audience a long time to mention the snorkel, but no one (yet) mentions the "late" front nose (hence the snorkel).
  10. Here's the link/post resulting in Mark stopping posting cars for sale. I too enjoyed his posts. https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/179696-mark92131s-classifieds-posts/
  11. 59.75" appears to be the length, however, if you search the forum you will see several differences. You won't know exactly what length you need until the 5 spd box is in and you can measure.
  12. That is a bilux bulb (probably 45/40 watt) and not an H4 bulb. Likewise the Euro buckets are for the bilux bulbs, as there is a different mounting for the H4 bulbs. However, an Ebay Seller in Germany is selling H4 bulbs with a bilux mounting base. https://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-02-1502-1602-1802-2002-ti-tii-turbo-Umrüstung-Bilux-H4-NEU/322667132342?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649
  13. Does it still have the Scottish flag on the sunroof?
  14. Yes, however, some bumpers have holes all the way around and not slots. Maybe aftermarket bumpers, I don't know. The rear centre one I got a while back from W & N had holes. Here's pics of some old ones.
  15. I think what you have/need is item #21, with 14 & 23, on Chris' link. Some bumpers had holes all the way along for the rubber strip (like my Touring) and not slots.

  17. I was the two sets of licence plate lights & the '74 orange parts decal that did it. Concours judge indeed.
  18. First time I saw this was back in June. It was in Isanti, MN, with a price of $8k. Different location, but maybe the same Seller. B 3221 1.docx Text from June Craigslist Ad:- 1973 bmw 2002 condition: fair fuel: gas paint color: yellow title status: clean transmission: manual QR Code Link to This Post Driving this car gets lots of attention. Sp fun! Only reason I am selling my adorable car is because my hubby is thinking about getting a new project car, and I don't believe we need 2 classic cars . She is a manual transmission. 2Liter 4 cylinder non turbo 4 speed stick. Run and drives. Paint in trunk is chipping, body in good shape. Solid because kept inside. Car was modified before I owned it. Text me any questions.
  19. Not sure if it still the case, but Green was considered an unlucky colour back in the day for a car in the UK. If you brought a green car to a salesman for a trade in, you got a low low offer, however, if he had a green one to sell, you could get a good deal. Hence me buying my Green Touring many moons ago.
  20. Coming from the other side of the pond, I expect all square light cars to have chrome bumpers as they did for the rest of the World, but, the correct ones for '71-'75 cars, and, no over-riders on the rear bumper.
  21. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/bmw/2002/1969794.html Auction today. Wonder how long before it re-appears on BAT or Ebay?
  22. Maybe post in the "Parts Wanted" section?
  23. Actually, these washers/rings were not just on US cars, but also Euros (RHD & LHD), and, including E3 and E9 models. Methinks they were installed for more than just bumper height.
  24. It's shown available on your website for $70. Time for an update I guess. Is the Bosch one (63 12 1 357 149) also NLA, as it's shown available for $44.
