    Car was sold on Ebay 4 yrs ago; reportedly resto'd '88-'89 with factory rblt mtr & MM trans. The 16k is showing on a '71-'73 speedo.

Page 51/27 Grab Handles up to Modell 71 Page 51/29 Grab Handles from Modell 71 (same part# as above) The only mention of Grab Straps (for sunroof cars), that I can see, are also on page 51/29 & noted as from Modell 71, BUT, I have pics of earlier sunroof cars with these Grab Straps.

    Jaymic UK have them. Early up to '73 = £189.80 Late H4 from '73 = £281.23 If the above prices incl VAT then you should get that back. Be aware of used units with old/useless reflectors.

    That was a smart idea. Always a nuisance going to/from the two separate pages in the Handbook. My '74 Touring has just completed a 1.5 year refurbish (I'm not as quick as I used to be!) Da Beater has locked up brakes...I'll fix it soon. Blue is still a running project Siena (project) needs attention Siena (parts car) gone but not forgotten. Added a few years back an '83 633csi and this has taken preference over the projects.

    This car has travelled. 2011 Select Classics, Dallas, resto, then spent the next 3~4 years in several CA cities, then to SC, and now (apparently) on its way to WA. As noted above by David, it sold for $18,600 last month, and the current Seller/Dealer/Flipper (Peter) had it plastered all over Craigslist in several cities at $25k. I'm not sure anyone looking closely at this car would pay the $25k, let alone $37k.

    Yep, me too. This started a day or so ago. Something changes on this Site weekly..................it's frustrating. edit: using Internet Explorer. I'm old school (it's why I drive an '02), I don't change anything so I get no surprises.........except on the faq board.

    FWIW According to the BMW parts book. Blinker c/w internal parking light was only for USA models. All Euro models had the parking/side light inside the headlight. USA Blinker w separate 4W bulb used from (1602) 1570371 up to 1572693, (2002) VIN 1663616 up to 1677377, (2002A) 2531437 up to 2532126 USA Blinker w dual filament bulb 21/5W used from (1602) 1572693, (2002) 1677377, (2002A) 2532126 and all 2002tii.

    FWIW Square Tail panel ending in 88 is noted for Euro & '74 USA model in the parts book (no mention of exhaust cut-out, but I guess right [pass] side). Square Tail panel 89 is noted for USA '75 model with exhaust cut-out in the centre.
