  1. Production ended April 1971.
  2. The B-pillar shiny trim is shown on parts book page 41/25b and is item 3.
  3. The parts book pages (51-7 & 51-9 dated 7/75) shows that only 2 of the "stud" type are used (extreme ends of the rubber strip) and 15 clamps for the rest. Later (particularly "aftermarket") bumpers had holes rather than the slots, thus the necessity to use all "stud" type. Doc1.docx
  4. I too had this problem. The pump was a year or so old, and having arrived at the 2009 Vintage it decided to pee on the ground. I never got around to changing it so it's still on the car now; I have never noticed it leak since.
  5. Forum navigation was soooo much easier then.
  6. FYI For example: Rear side window seal 51 36 7 441 112 msrp = $71.31 on-line price BMW of South Atlanta = $67.85 (-5%) ecstuning = $61.25 (-14%) getBMWparts = $57.05 (-20%) Even without free shipping, getBMWparts makes up for that with circa 20% lower prices. https://www.getbmwparts.com/parts/?action=oePartSearch&siteid=214672&make=BMW&model=
  7. The car left Rare Rides with gold "houndstooth" inserts in the seats & door panels; it would appear that Panther City Motors (Fort Worth) changed them to all black. Whilst it may have been a scam, the car was for sale on San Antonio Craigslist November 2014. The Ad used the same pics that Panther City used on Ebay from Dec '12 through Mar '13.
  8. Actually John, those pics were before it went. It is however back now. I had to go and retrieve the car.......it had been in the shop 11 months 3 weeks! I'll email you the sordid details.
  9. If I ever get my parts stash sorted (or sold) I'll get 4 cars in here.
  10. Well, I am amazed. Maybe there is a difference between Euro & USA '02s, but I find it difficult to comprehend. The bottom one in the Cahsel pic is the same as I have on my November '73 built Touring, so, I know they were used past Aug '73 on Euros, and all 3 of my '76 '02s. The middle one was used on USA (at least) early '70s cars (ie model 71). The top one was probably for the late '60s cars. So, if the broad ones were used up to Aug '73 then what was used for the model 73 cars ('74-'76)? Here's a couple of pics of 1502s which I think answer the question as they were manufactured in '76.
  11. That is ass-backwards! The sill/rocker covers in Esty's photo are the early ones (NLA I believe), and the ones you posted are the later ( maybe available) as fitted to my Nov '73 Touring and my 3 '76 USA sedans. You should contact Jaymic in the UK and ask them.....after all Mike Macartney (Owner) wrote the book on 2002s.
  12. Here's a couple of pics that may help you. The loom runs along the inside of the rocker, up & over the seat mount, and eventually to the rear seat area, up the edge of the rear shock tower and then into the trunk.
  13. Well......I'm confused. Your pictures show the style of door sill cover that actually covered the sill/rocker. These were on the later cars, like my '74 Touring, and are (I believe) readily available new for around $85 each. The "rare" ones are the early style that basically hold the carpet and the lower seal and do not cover the sill/rocker. The even "rarer" ones are the metal/alloy style that I had my first '02 (1971) and stupidly did not keep.
  14. Faq Owner TR sold it back in June on B-a-T. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/topic/180436-sold-73-tii-coming-up-for-sale%E2%80%A6/?page=1 http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1973-bmw-2002-tii/
  15. 1687697 left the factory in 1970 and as a 2002ti.
  16. The item you ringed is not used if your car has a sunroof. If it does have a sunroof, then item 8 is used to plug the whole you "arrowed" in the second pic.
  17. 1561983. Sold in a Bring-a-Trailer Auction in March this year. The Seller had the car for 8 years and reportedly lived in Arcadia, CA. No clue who the new Owner is.
  18. It amazes me how many "sellers" on here do not have the sense to post their location. This one was parting out a car with a WA tag........so maybe he's up that way.
  19. Euro '02 clusters, with the "silver dollar" gauges/clocks, did not have the brake warning light. The brake light began with model 71 for Euro '02s.
  20. Our Danish friend did not say if it was working though!!!! and 200 k (kroner) = $28.......I'd take it.
  21. 1969 BMW 2800 GTS by Frua http://www.pietro-frua.de/1969_bmw2800.htm#Comm. 350/4 Actually, if you scroll down to the bottom of the page, the pic posted above appears in the 1972 BMW 3.0 GTS part.
