    "Newt", If you are sure you have the right key (ie: you locked it with that key), sometimes a little graphite, wd40, etc. and a lot of wiggling (the key, not you) might be successful. good luck

    That is the original plate that came on my car. It also includes the speaker below the radio. The plastic mounting tabs tend to break off, so many of them have been changed. My blaupunkt Nurnberg is a 79 vintage but still looks like it belongs there.

    I read your post first, and no matter how much I "racked" my brain, I couldn't figure out what you were talking about. Then I checked out the Roof Rack thread.......Now I understand the warning, unfortunately I opened it at work. Fortunately, I am the boss. It is important to keep "abreast" of current events. Shoulda known, if Otis is involved....watch out. We should "nip" this in the bud.

Now waiting to see how the Canzone bros manage to finish. Michael Skeen is "scary" good. enjoyed your part in it, looking forward to the rest.

    They are practically local for you. You could go over and check them out. I think AIR has been around quite a while. No personal experience though.

    You could try e-mailing Marc Kolmsee (Automobil2067), he runs the German 02 website http://www.kfz-kultur.de/. He can be reached through the contact link in the website. I will email you his address if that doesn't work. He has a beautiful 67 NK and has hundreds of photos of german 02's. He would know whether anyone in Germany has tried it. He should also know how the lights are mounted. He may even be able to lead you to a resource to buy some. I met him last summer, he saw my car and hunted me down. He can communicate fairly well in english. I think this is Marc's NK Good luck

    that's a yes on the vent (different shape), not sure about window, might be shorter. Jaime Munoz may have some resources for touring parts. Steeper windshield angle, and lower roof on the touring

    roughly the 3000 to 4000 area of State Street is closest to the showgrounds. (101/Las Positas) Last year CJ stayed at the Sandman Inn. Which seems like a pretty good choice. Let me know what you find.

    Ditto....I believe everyone here, in spite of what seems as harsh statements, has your best interests in mind. For sure, there is no shortage of opinions. Just get your differences sorted out honestly before you make any long-term decisions (like marriage, joint investments, children). The 02 is just a catalyst to realizing issues that need to be resolved. Any girl that even agrees to ride in an 02 gets everyone's respect. Some become as passionate as the rest of us about them. Most, just love us and tolerate our sickness. We will be considerate and friendly toward her.
