  2. Cosmic Brochure from England Opel Kadet Rallye 5"x13" (I have a second set For Sale with caps and lugs, BTW) Western Wheel 5.5"x13" (Also For Sale)
  3. My Orig style pump started leaking over the summer and I grabbed a newer style out of the crash kit and installed it. I used the same insulator block and the pushrod that was specific to the pump. I'm not sure who had the longest rod...the outlet fuel hose length is not the same due to location. AutohausAZ/Worldpac shows this Pierburg (13 31 1 265 192) for a 2002:
  4. If you want to save yourself the trouble of repainting and don't need the extra width, the Euro 316i had the same wheel in 5x14" still available in Silber. STEEL RIM SILBER -- 5JX14 ET:35 ---- 36 11 1 125 684
  5. If you'd like to explore your options in 13" x 5.5" I have these available in the FS forum. Western Wheel from the 1970s: http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,57/page,viewtopic/t,362232/
  6. I have a 2bl intake manifold modded for a Weber 32/36 that I'd sell if you find someone else who has the carb. Keep me in mind. Ben

  8. Looking for a NOS set of early front Bumperettes for my 68. Would also consider a rechromed set email or reply with offers, thanks!
  9. Hello, welcome! for a 4.5 rim, the 165/80/13 is correct, might be able to use a 185/70/13 for that "fatter" look. I use this size on 5" rims. Play around with this calculator: http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp
  10. Well $HIT - both sets are sold with Buy it Now. Oh well. Didn't have the coin anyway. Ben
  11. You mean this? - Oh budget between 11-13K for the RMFD SHORT ENGINE (not sure about the core charge)
  12. I don't think I've ever ever seen anything like this on a 2002 -- very odd aircleaner lid (but nice sparkplug loom) -- ebay listing = http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-2002-1976-BMW-2002-Excellent-Condition-New-Tires-Must-See-/300594103247
  13. For anyone wondering about the fit/finish, I purchased a set and they are of good quality and fit just fine. Very fast shipping too! replace those skunky trunks! =Ben
  14. Hi All - I've had several inquiries on the wheel well. I don't know how much metal is replaced when welding up a replacement panel, but I assumed that since the actual floor is what rusts out, the upper sides and surrounding areas were not of much interest. There is slight damage/distortion to the upper portion of the side that touches the back center. The car was hit right about in the tail panel emblems. I'll reply to emails sent, but I'm really not an expert on this! I just thought it was too good to throw away and I could certainly use some extra project funds! Ben
  15. hmmm...must be a problem with the forum's email system? The other side of the pan was smashed and discarded. Sorry, I only saved this piece as I thought someone could use it to repair a rusted out wheel well. -=Ben
  16. FS: Spare Tire Well Sheet Metal - VGC, Chamonix, from a SoCal car, no rust, underside of car was coated with WURTH undercoating (2005) - Can trim jagged edges for easier shipping. Removed for collision repair. Make offer.
  17. Hi CD, my 1600 does have an electro-mechanical clock, I assume this is what ran the battery down after sitting all summer. It is just interesting that now it won't take a charge, either from the car or via battery charger.
  18. I've been around these parts since 2005 and I've seen a lot of "What Battery?" posts: CD has chimed in multiple times recommending Dealer sourced 55AH or 66AH batteries, Others like Walmart's Group 26, many pros/cons on red top and a fair share of praise for Interstate and DEKA. Searching on the term "Battery" here on the FAQ has not been extremely helpful. I've been using a 50AH BMW branded battery 61-27-7-567-181 for about 4 years and after an 8 week period of storage with no battery tender and a 1600 electric clock, this battery is toast and will no longer take a charge. If you've purchased a standard 2002 battery (front location) in the last few months/years and are happy with the results, please reply with the brand, size and where you purchased it. If you know of a useful old FAQ thread that I can revisit, please post it here too. I'm going to purchase new batteries for both of my cars and want to make a good choice. Thank you, -Ben
  19. Friggin Stinks. I've used the site for years to dig up remote finds like: Z3 Parts for my mother-in-law in St. Louis M10 Factory Rebuilt Engine in Vermont Cosmic Wheels in Boston What the hell craigslist, you suck balls. Go have a drink with Netflix and leave Jaxed alone.
  20. Use the TireRack banner ad in this link and the FAQ gets a 6% commission: http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,32/category_id,9/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,59/
  21. I've been buying up cheap ones, getting them blasted and now I'm contemplating some sort of wall grouping. I've also been picking up one piece kidney grills from the 80s cars at the pic-a-part for the same reason. I suspect a wall art project was not what you had in mind when you asked the question! Ben
  22. Less than 150 miles on new WHITEWALLS? They still make those?
