  1. .....this is going to be a real hoot...again. As others have said...get your room at the host hotel now...the place is new and the breakfast is free. And we don't want some stinking girls high school soccer team taking over our hotel, do we? -Ben
  2. . ....if I had a squaretail, I'd be all over these. Way Bitchin.

  7. No offense to the owners, but, no, I would not be proud to own or drive this machine.
  8. Ahh, funnyman. Actually that car has better sheetmetal on the hindquarters.
  9. I chased this car for a few months last year before the owners fizzled out on communication. At the time, the car was in Kingston, PA (Scranton) and the asking price has gone up several thousand dollars since December 08. Nice car, but not perfect. Has had at least a respray and some body work in the past. Also had a Factory Rebuilt Engine in mid 80's. I wanted this one, it just didn't work out. ARCHIVE PICTURES FROM FALL 2008 ATTACHED BELOW
  10. While at Walmart, consider picking up a decent roll of ducttape, set this on the hump between the seats and presto...you have a cupholder. Ben

  12. A few layers of black electrical tape just above the silver contact points is all it takes. Without it, yep, the plug bounces out.
  13. . ......that came out a little before yours:
  14. Thanks everyone with the help==I have located a diff that will work. Ben
  15. I have one like the flat one pictured above..it is hard to remove without using the key since the cap is level with the body panel. let me know if you are interested.
  16. . My '71 1600 is handsomely equipped with a 4.11:1 and I was considering swapping out for a 3.90:1 to help keep the revs down at today's highway speeds. Has anyone experimented with this swap? Would a move to a 3.64:1 make the car too super dog slow? And finally, anyone have a known good 3.90:1 for sale? (shipping required) Thank you, -=Ben
  17. Ben and Larry will be arriving from Indianapolis, with Jim from the Dayton, OH area in tow.
  18. . I can tell my car once had a sticker on the driver's side inner fender...but I can't figure out what it might have been. I highlighted the exposed shiny part with a black box in the attached picture. Can anyone with a 70 or 71 model year car tell me what I'm missing? Thank you, -Ben
  19. Very cool...I still have my first car...a 62 Falcon Futura.
  20. Any chance this car could be saved...it looks like a nice starter project for a noob.
