Oh I remembered, Motive is good. I wish it had a swivel on the hose. You almost have to reverse twist the hose before you screw it on the reservoir or you are doing all sorts of contortions to get it screwed on.
Motive now sells a power bleeder with an aluminum cap with a swivel. It's called the Black Label European Power Bleeder Kit. I just received one, but haven't used it yet. I hope to do my 1st bleeding this weekend,

I bought some Karlyn tie rods. If you look closely at their logo it says:
"The Art of German Engineering, Made in the USA"
The quality seems to be pretty good.

Every time that I drive to work in the drizzly fog (like today), I thank Sherman Martinez for selling me the intermittent windshield wiper function on my car. Thanks Sherman!

From my2002tii.com:

If someone on here doesn't offer you one, you can ussually get one from Dave Varco at Aardvark Racing. That's where I got a center section for my 1973.
Good luck,

Here's a link to a listing of all of the tii hoses with part numbers:
http://www.my2002tii.com/spring_2005/tiihoses.htm
The upper hose to the warm-up regulator is: 11 531 254 680
The lower is: 11 531 254 681
I just received these same parts from Blunt yesterday.

I can only imagine how much fun that would be. Some serious HP!

I used one of these and it was a pretty close match:

Yokohama AVID t4 185/70 R13 if you can find them.

My favorite is the OEM tii specific resonator and muffler made for BMW by Eberspacher. That combo of resonator and muffler flows really well and is quiet.

Nice color match

Thanks for the great photos to remember a wonderful event. It was great to meet up with 2002-Nuts old & new. Thanks to the organizers, vendors and volunteers. Thanks to Sherman Martinez who had exactly what I needed even though I didn't ask him in advance. Thanks also to Warren at Accurate Powder Coating, will be looking you up soon Bro. Nice to see that the 2002 community is alive and well. Was a good time.
Thanks especially to the two dudes (sorry, forgot your names) who shared their shade tent, it was fricken HOT!!! Hope to see you again next year.
PS That Manila car was parked near mine and is SWEET ;-)

I have a 74tii that I had the seats recovered using the World Upholstery kit. I'll try to take a picture and post it here tonight. The good thing about their kit for the 1974 seats is that they're made out of OEM vinyl which is of much better quality than the domestic vinyl that their kits for earlier cars are made out of. I've also used their kits on a couple of earlier cars and was satisfied, but not as good as the 74 kit. I can't comment on how easy it is to install because I had an upholstery guy do it for me. Good luck,

I'm excited about finally being able to make it. I've been trying to attend since back in the days when it was in Palo Alto and something always came up that prevented me from going. Stoked this year!

Don,
I think that when Autohauz AZ lists a part as 'Lemfoerder/MTC', they mean that it will either be supplied by Lemfoerder or MTC. I recently ordered a new drag link labelled 'Meyle/Ocap' and received a part made in Italy by Ocap instead of the expected german made part from Meyle. I really like dealing with Autohauz AZ, just make sure to read the parts listing carefully,

I had a similar problem on my 74 recently. I did all of the usual suggestions as mentioned above and still had a sticky pedal. It turned out that the pedal itself was the culprit. The rubber holes where the pedal snaps to the floor were all worn out and would bind against the mounting pin/ball things on the floor. Purchased a new pedal, problem solved.

For only $6 bucks or so you can't lose!
Ya, that's what I thought. Just received a refund for the order I tried to place with: Henshaw's Electronics. Talk about customer service, the owner called me at home to tell me how sorry he was that he couldn't fulfill my order and added that some guy in San Gabriel CA bought out his entire stock a while back. Oh well. Somebody has a stash out there ;-)

I just hope that I can successfully bleed my brakes without getting brake fluid all over the place ;-)
BTW William, I was successful in replacing and adjusting my entire tii linkage using the tools and manuals I purchased from you. The car never ran better! Thanks
