  1. I vote for #1 from the set of 17 or number #1 from the set of 9 if the word ".com" is dropped.
  2. I am in for 2 and hope they will be high quality.
  3. I am the original owner of my 74 tii and I put 205,000 miles on mine before doing a restoration. Only routine maintenance done during all those miles and it still had the original clutch in it.
  4. I am the one who was stupid enough to install new ugly speakers to replace the original ugly speakers. Being a purist is annoying. When I bought the car new from VOB BMW in Bethesda in 1974 the car came with a Blaupunkt radio and Blaupunkt speakers. When I restored the car I couldn't get the original speakers so I found ones that looked just like the originals. The only good thing about the set-up is that I didn't have to cut out any large holes for speakers. Cutting into new upholstery would have killed me .
  5. Bill..I will take it. Send me your email address....thanks.
  6. Thanks. Yes, I am finding that out. I have checked everywhere. I posted in the parts wanted section also so maybe someone will have a used one for sale.
  7. Great idea. I am an original owner. Bought mine new. I like the idea of an Original Owner Grille badge also.
  8. Anyone know where I can buy one of these orange electrical cap/cover? I have check several sources with no luck.
  9. I am looking for the orange top that covers the electrical pin connectors. I am not sure exactly what it is called but please see picture.
  10. I bought it. Read it. Loved it. Will probably read it again. Great job and congrats Rob.
  11. I can ship you a fedx slip also for the wheel covers and both bumpers. Let me know how much you want for them. Thanks Mike
  12. I would be interested in the bumpers along with all the wheel covers as well.
  13. I would like the wheel covers....let me know a price. Thanks.
  14. +1 on the shift boot experiment. That is exactly what happened to me. Once the new rubber shift boot was removed it stopped popping out of gear. I replaced the rubber boot with a soft leather one. Problem gone.
  15. +1 Hagerty has been very fair with me....I had to send them pictures before they agreed with the value I put on the car which they then agreed........very easy and cheap yearly costs.
  16. I love it....It has to be the first plate out there like that. This plate is still available in Virginia.
  17. I like your parents plate. I wonder how many 2002tii plates areout there.
  18. I had Korman rebuild my 74tii motor. It has been about 4 years now and it has run perfect. I am extremelly happy with it. As said above, he costs a little more but it was worth it. I am sure you will enjoy the results. Mike
