    I have purchased parts from him and it was a bit of a hassle. I had to do an electronic transfers of funds from my account to his, plus pay for the processing charge for the fund transfers for my bank as well as his bank. After you figure in those 2 charges plus the charge for the transfer itself, the part becomes very expensive. I also had to send a little extra in case the Euro to dollar exchanged rate changed during the coarse of the transaction and shipping. I did receive everything as promised but probably wont buy anything else from him until he accepts credit cards or it is the only place that I can get the part from, as was the case with my purchase. He did refund the extra funds that were left over from the extra I sent in case the Euro exchange rate changed.

    What kind of fuel stabilizer is recommended for winter storage? I am getting ready to prepare my tii for winter storage.

    I used World on my 74tii and they were a perfect match to the originals. I have had them on for about 2 years and they look great.

    Mike...I had my dash restored by Dashboard Restorations USA. I called them and spend a lot of time on the phone and liked what I heard so I sent them the dash. I got the dash back and had it installed in the car. It was beautiful...for about 4 months. At the end of 4 months the covering they put on the dash started lifting. In about 2 days the complete dash lifted and wrinkled off the base. I called them and they were very apologetic and wanted me to send the dash back and said they would fix it for free and also wanted to see what went wrong. I was initially going to send it back to them but was afraid of going thru the whole thing with them a second time. So I told them thanks anyways and I appreciated their offer but was sending my dash to Just Dashes. Just dashes did a good job and it looked just as good as Dashboard restorations job with the exception that it has been 2 years and it still looks good. I am not trying to put down Dashboard Restorations USA but just relaying my story. In their defense they were willing to redo it for free and wanted very much to find out what happened so they could see if they have to tweak their process and by now they may already have.

    Jonathan.....This Mike DiAndrea....we met a few years ago at the Deutsche Marque Concours. So sorry to hear about your accident. I had not heard about it. It was one great car. I hope it finds a good home. Anyone would be lucky to have it.

    I had the same problem and bought 2 piece stems. The first set I purchased leaked. I bought a second set from Walloth & Nesch. The second set hasn't leaked in 2 years. There is either a difference in quality or installation. Not sure which.

    Try pushing down on the top of the hood next to the windshield. Mine sticks occasionally and with a little push down on either the left or right side on the windshield end of the hood it should open.

    Mike...do you happen to have a picture of the "soup plate alloys"? I bought my 74 tii new and it came with the FPS style alloys even thought I found out later that they stopped putting them on tii's in 73. The dealer must have put them on my car before I took delivery.

    On my USA 1970 it came on when the emergency brake was pulled as well as when the brake fluid was low. Most of the time the fluid wasn't low but the fluid sensor pin in the fluid cap was stuck. It never came on as a low gas notification.
