  1. John....I don't recall ever seeing it either. Looks to be a nice example. The item location said it was in Saint Paul, Minnesota now. I wonder how long ago it left the DC area.
  2. Saw this on Old Keen Mill Road in Springfield, Va. Does this belong to anyone on here?
  3. Steve...there is less then 400 miles on the set. You can get the bushings from Korman. I put the web site and part numbers in the ad above. I am not sure how much they cost but it cant be much. You can give them a call and ask. They are great people and very helpful. Mike
  4. A few people on here including myself have used Jeff at Advanced Distributors in MN . http://advanceddistributors.com
  5. Sorry. I have no way of confirming that.
  6. Thanks John but I need to keep it as a complete set. Mike D
  7. For sale is my Korman Roadsport Suspension package. It includes all the hardware shown in the pictures. Please note that it DOES NOT include the 4 Bilstein HD Shocks (You can use any shocks you want). It does include new sway bar bushings which I just purchased to include in the sale. Ray Korman installed this kit on my 74tii during restoration. It made the car handled much better than the stock set up. I recently started showing my car in judged events and always lost points due to the non-stock suspension so I decided to go back to the original suspension. I can tell the difference between the Korman set-up and stock. I will miss the Korman suspension. I called Korman to get a current price for this and was told it is no longer available. He said they can’t get the springs anymore. He said this was their bestselling set up. I looked for my receipt but couldn’t find it. I think I paid about $1,200.00 for the Roadsport suspension. I am asking $500.00 plus shipping. The next available set-up is the Korman Clubsport Suspension package for $1,445.00. This drops the car 1 ½ inches. From the Korman web site for the kit I am selling: Korman Roadsport Suspension For all around street/highway use. Designed to be comfortable yet firmly controlled for everyday commuting and provide very substantially improved handling for winding roads and weekend club events. The Roadsport suspension is our biggest selling kit. It includes: 4 stronger 1/2" lower springs, 4 Bilstein HD Shock Absorbers, 1 set 22 front and 19 adjustable rear sway bars, with mounting hardware, polyurethane bushings and the special polyurethane bushing lube. https://www.kormanautoworks.com/2002.htm
  8. I saw the 2002 at Amelia in person and in my opinion this one is better. Of coarse to be fair, I am only looking at pictures for the BAT 2002. An in person inspection might change things.
  9. Steve...I looked on the Classic Michelin tire site and they list the width as 167mm or 6.5 inches. So we now have 3 different tire widths for the same tire 165 HR 13 13" XAS TT 82 H 167 600 1824 4.0 4.5 5.5 13 D 13
  10. The Coker Tire site lists 3 sets of tires. The XAS 165HR13, Maxxis 165/80R13 and a Goodrich 165/80R13. The Section Width of each tire is 5.80, 6.70, 6.97 respectively. Check your Section Width of your Nankang and see it it is larger then the XAS. This could tell you why is doesn't fit like the original XAS. Before i found new XAS's from Coker I had a similar problem with a set of tires I had purchased.
  11. The original tires that came on my 74tii were the Michelin XAS 165HR13. I am not sure 165/80R 13's are the same size. Someone on here will know but the 80's might be a little wider then stock.
  12. Thanks for the constructive review. I have been on this site long enough to know I shouldn't have put up an item for sale without the things you mentioned. When I get back from vacation I will edit the ad with pictures and appropriate info. Thanks.
  13. I will post photos. I thought the Korman web site can do a better job of explaining what is included in the kit.
  14. If you look on the Korman 2002 Parts Catalog you will see that this kit is for 2002/2002tii's. It came off of my 74 2002tii.
  15. Korman Roadsport Suspension System kit for sale. it is like brand new. You can read about it on the Korman web site. On the car for 300 miles. Everything included except the 4 Bilstein shocks. This kit is specifically for the 2002/2002tii. Korman makes the same named kit for other BMW's.
  16. Steve.....The amount of detailed knowledge you have on our cars in incredible. I have looked at my windows sticker hundreds of times and never saw that before. My window sticker does in fact have "Tires and Tubes" listed but I can tell you that my XAS's that came with the car were tubeless. I am the original owner and my spare tire is original. Never used. After reading your post I asked a friend of mine if his 74tii had tube type tires and he told me the same thing. His had tubeless XAS's also. He too has the original spare. Maybe the dealer did something but I am not sure why. Mike
  17. Steve...My 74tii came with tubeless XAS tires. I still have the original spare tire and it is tubeless.
  18. I loved this place. I bought every part for my restoration from them. When they were going out of business they called me and asked if I needed anything else because they were liquidating everything. I bought a ton of parts from them even though I had finished my restoration. I still have them stored away in case I ever need them.
  19. Great movie....looks like 95MPH...where was that shot at?
  20. I received this in an email the other day from the BMW Foundation. Sounds like a nice event. I am including the application in case anyone here is interested. Sorry if this has already been posted. Exhibition Application - 50 Years of the 2002.pdf
