    Yes. It looks like the nose panel was replaced with a later one. Early grills (the correct ones for a round tail car) do not fit in the 74-76 nose panels. I doubt anyone changed the nose panel to fit the late (plastic) grills. Most likely the original one was too rusty or the car got in a fender bender. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Yup. Like Toby said. The nose panel is from a later square tail car. They use different grills and kidney. 1600's have all silver grills with no slats, BUT I think 1600ti's had black slats like 2002's. Plus the added 1600ti badge. Turf is an awesome, rare color.     I think it works on your 02 because it's Schwartz. I think if you painted all the shiny bits black it would be a different story. In the end stock or black trim, I like 02's no matter what. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Personal opinion. NO. I never heard of factory black trim. My main reason for not liking it is it looks like you're trying hard to stand out when you're really not. I don't even like trim delete so maybe I'm biased. [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I just realized I never added the photos of the actual finished car. Doh! I think most FAQ'rs have seen them, but here they are for posterity. The only visual change I made was to the BMW ALPINA logo. Slight change to a more correct version.

    Nope I used the e21 recaro adapters and my original seat sliders/rails. Very simple bolt on upgrade. Just bolt the adapters to the rails, then bolt the seats in the car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    SOLD! Used Nameless Performance rad in very good condition. I recently replaced this with the WN radiator because I wanted a stock look. Probably less than 3K miles on it. This kept my car cool every summer here in hot & humid Virginia. Has a convenient petcock for easy draining. Also, I ran this with a stock fan without issue. $100 plus shipping.
