  1. First time looking through here. Babar looks awesome. I'd hold off on the cosmetic stuff if you're not in a rush. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Price:: 75.00 Location: : Virginia Beach I just switched out my MOMO TYP D35 for a Lauda wheel. So this is now available. Leather is in good condition with a few pinpoint white spots. I think it's paint but haven't tried cleaning it. I'll let it go for $75 OBO plus $13 for shipping. Comes with MOMO horn button.
  3. Is shipping that much now? I had one shipped from Illinois to Virginia for about $600. That was 6 years ago tho. Good luck with your search tho. I feel like you'd have to cast a larger net tho. I'd just buy Joel's and finish it. The hard part of blending the rears are done. Fronts are easy peasy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I think this was on BAT a few years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Wow. Deal of the year. Very jealous. [emoji16] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I'm going to eat my words now after seeing them on Rusty02s car. They look decent for the price. The seller should really add a pic of them on a car Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Snuck a few hours this Memorial Day to work on the 1600. Seeing all the cars at The Vintage really got me motivated. I started off the morning fine tuning the fit of my front flares. Then moved on to polishing the lip of one of my Epsilons. The Motorsport roundel is just a mock up. I also have it in the greyscale color way. In addition I have two versions of the Epsilon logo. I'll decide what to do about them after I paint the car. I'm not going for a full restoration on these wheels. I like the patina on the lips, so I'm just going to shine them up a bit. The faces I had powder coated a few weeks ago. After that I layer down some Por15 in the wheel well and the side panel. The side panel is covered by the rear flares. The springs are IE race springs matched with Bilstein Sports. I think I will switch it out to a stage two spring though. The small drums are getting upgraded to 250's. Just waiting on a few parts from Mobile Traditions. Once that was done I got around to spraying some etching primer on the passenger side flares. Didn't bother taking photos of the process. It's just paint drying. To reward myself for all my hard work I switched out my old MOMO wheel for a vintage Niki Lauda wheel by MOMO. I like the connection between Lauda, Alpina and the 1600. That's about it for now. Hopefully I'll be ready for paint in 2-3 weeks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. You'd think the seller would post a pic of them on an 02. Maybe there's a reason. I agree with Steve. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. This one looked like it had an after market grill? Bad photo of one of two 2002ti's engine bay. Wish I took more photos. Was also hoping to see a Bristol car in person. I guess next year when I bring mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hey Mike, I used to see tons of photos of that 2000C a few years back, but never realized it was Bristol. I love the look even more now. Didn't that car go to Europe? BTW, I didn't have any luck with NML for the Alpina fabric, but I'm now on Gerrits list. The search continues.
  11. Love your car. One of my favorites on the FAQ. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. IE has angled velocity stacks if you have trouble finding a tii booster. Just a suggestion. GLW your search tho. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Shipped to 23452? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. 1602 June 1970 Hello Darlin' by Conway Twitty. I'll have to YouTube that one. Only Conway Twitty song I've heard was a gag on Family Guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I'm pretty sure 71 1602's came with updated clutch and brake booster. I know mine does. LSD is from a 320is. Update: Still doing a lot of priming and block sanding, but I'm getting close to finishing. Below is a rendering I made in Illustrator of what my goal is. Bristol paint with satin black hood and trunk. Other contenders were Florida, Polaris, Tampico, Derby, and Turf Green. In the end Bristol always took the first slot on my goat list. I've also picked up a Getrag 245 off of eBay. I paid a little more than I wanted, but trying to find one on the east coast has proven difficult. No plans to install it anytime soon, but I thought it would be best to grab one now since every year the prices seem to rise on these things.
  16. Never seen a kit like this. Did the seller have any pictures installed? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. The steering wheel may have a date stamped on the back, if you want to authenticate it being from the period. Sure is correct tho. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. GLWS Joel! I hope this means you're getting that dream car. [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I just want to say, IMO, it would be a shame to cut your fenders for turbo flares. Your fenders appear to be in great condition. Have you tried rolling the rear fenders? You can rent the tool from an auto parts store. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I did this a few years ago. You will have to cut the rears carefully making sure you leave enough of the wheel well to weld back onto the fender. Mounting them is pretty straight forward after that. Not doing this is sorta pointless because you'll end up with wide flares with inadequate wheels to fill them. Are you sure your panels are straight with no bondo? You may end up doing extra bodywork and paint if so. Also, you didn't mention how wide your 15's were or if your car was lowered. 15x8 et0 seems to be the norm for filling up turbo flares.
  21. I'd check out the stance thread to get a better idea of what will work. Most of the posts include info you need to know. Suspension, wheel size, et, and tire size. Search "the stance thread" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Very cool. Maybe the nicest roof rack I've ever seen. Also, the weekend crafter pack looks like something I'd see in Wallpaper magazine or something. Very nice stuff dude!
  23. Do the Autozone brake shoes have the spacer for upper spring placement? I was looking at the shoes IE sent me and they are riveted as mentioned in the link I've listed below. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/topic/165028-ok-am-i-the-only-one-having-trouble-with-250mm-brake-shoes/
  24. I'll take it. Message me PayPal info. Shipping to 23462 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
