  1. I agree if, it's solid otherwise I'd get it (pictures would help.) Here are some helpful links to do the head swap. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,350584/ http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,57/page,viewtopic/t,346414/highlight,head+swap/ http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,365309/highlight,/
  2. I'd use the "Forum Search" to get all the info you would want to know, but here's some links to help answer your questions. http://home.roadrunner.com/~pchamaa/2002_auxilliary_lamp_brackets.htm http://www.danielsternlighting.com/products/products.html
  3. I ordered the new TH1381's back in October, and it looks like Compomotive will be shipping them sometime next week. Attached is recent pic they sent me. I've got Sumi 205/60/13's patiently waiting for them in my garage.
  4. I don't have the IE hood, but I do have the Korman FG hood. They incorporate a molded x-brace to stiffen it up a bit, and it's not as flimsy as I was expecting. I only notice it when I'm going freeway speeds (even then it's not bad.) As far as painting it, I'm sure it's just like any other FG piece. I opted for using vinyl wrap. For the trim I just used chrome strips found at Autozone. Personally, I'd rather have a stock hood, because lifting the hood off to check on little stuff gets bothersome.
  5. Saw this today. They never show the whole car, but got some nice sound clips of it.
  6. here ya go... http://home.roadrunner.com/~pchamaa/2002_auxilliary_lamp_brackets.htm
  7. Here's mine. 45 DCOE chokes: 36 mm Main: 145 Airs: 180 Pump Jets: 45 Emulsion: f16 Idles 55 F9 Stock E21 head, tii dizzy, Crane Fireball, IE shorty headers. I live in Virginia Beach, so I assume I'm at sea level. I'm using the TEP cable linkage, and replaced all my accelerator bushings and spring with NOS. Feels ok, I'd prefer the stock linkage I had with my 32/36.
  8. I'm not for certain. But remeber a flat Ceylon w turbo flares on here with a removable front clip. I'm sure it had 17" wheels too. Try searching using the info I gave you to find the project blog, holiday cheer (drinks) got me to hammered to find the link. Happy thanks giving!
  9. Subscribed! This sounds like a great build and hope you finish it.

  16. I think a good safety upgrade would be a set of LED rear tail lights, and a 3rd brake light. nmna http://www.classicautoleds.com/bmw2002.html[/url]
