  1. Yep 30 miles. My commute is only about 2 miles, then I had fuel pump issues so I barely drove the car till I fixed it last week. When I finally got to drive it as a daily, it was apparent it wasn't for me. Found a sound clip thats pretty accurate on you tube.
  2. I have no clue how old or how many miles are on the muffler, but it looks rather fresh. The chrome is nice, and almost all of the black paint is there. I probably only put less than 30 miles on it. As far as how loud it is. I guess it's all subjective. I had no problem listening to my stereo while driving around town if that helps gauge. LOL. I actually liked the sound, but personal preference was for me to just hear me sidedraft, and header. I think there may be some sound clips on youtube. Search bmw 2002 ansa.

I probably only put less than 30 miles on it no idea how many miles the PO clocked (a guess, less than 500.) As far as how loud it is. I guess it's all subjective. 4. Jrk, I just picked up some 205/60/13's, thanks though. I hope to pick up some Revolutions or Minilites in the future, and the tires you have mounted are great looking. As far as noise from my rear sway bar, I haven't noticed any noise. In fact it got rid of the "clanking" noises I had with my old stock sways.
  5. Hello all. Im selling off some pieces that I no longer need. If anything sparks your interest please email me at jason@noahlarmz.com New bumper brackets, never used (bought from rogerstii ebay for $41 a piece plus shipping.) Will let them go as a pair for $75 plus shipping. **SOLD** BMW Momo horn button $18 shipped. **SOLD** Ansa muffler for roundies. Bought this used from the faq, and ran it for a few months. Too loud for me so I went back to stock. I'll let it go for $110 shipped. Due to my school and work schedule, I can only ship items on the weekends. Thanks for looking!
  6. Damn, If only they were 13x8! I really thought they were 13x7 when I saw your introduction pics. Anyhow, GLWS. Free bump.
  7. I have Alpina flares. My fronts are from Mana Motorsport and the rears are IE's. I have 13x7's right now, but will be upgrading to 13x8 et-0 with 205/60/13 tires. For the rears I think anywhere between et-0 to et -10 would fill out the flare nicely.
  8. There is a pair on ebay right now. First time I've seen them in awhile. http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMW-Alpina-1600-2002-Tii-E9-3-0CSL-Zender-WindSplits-NOS-/360400459532?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item53e98a970c#ht_500wt_1089
  9. Well, after 2 months of driving with the Ansa Sport muffler, I went back to stock. It was fun at first, and I'll miss the popping and throaty sound, but with my ears I'll be much happier with my stock. Perhaps in the future I'll upgrade to the IE system. In addition to removing the Ansa, I also installed the rear IE sway bar I had sitting around for a few months. My stock sway bar bushings were almost non-exsistant. I used the search function to figure out the install. Sanded down the flat side of "D" bushing a bit, and used the longer bolt method to tighten the bar down. Probably took me 1.5 hours to finish the project. I'm going to upgrade my fronts shortly. While I was under the car, I took a picture of the "S" on my diff. Just thought it looked cool.
  10. I'll take one. Paypal? Msg me at jason @ noahlarmz.com
  11. UPDATE Today I installed a new electronic fuel pump. My original one was in my engine bay and I moved this new one to my trunk. It's a lot quieter than my old one (same model tho.) After installing, I took my car out for a spin, and noticed it still had stalling issues in 2nd and 3rd gear, but never died. I decided to adjust my single 45 dcoe cause prior I had my idle mixture screws almost all the way out. Anyhow I probably tightened them about 5 turns in, and adjusted my throttle. Took another quick trip, and my stalling issues are gone. I'm not sold that I've fixed the problem, so I'll take it for a spin later tonight and tomorrow morning. If I don't run into any hiccups I'll consider case closed.
  12. CD. LOL. Im not sure why I failed to mention that I had a electronic fuel pump. I guess I thought it was in good working order since it's out put was fine at idle. For now I'm going to replace it with the same pump, but I'll switch back to stock when I replace my head soon. Thanks for the insight!
  13. CD: Usually when it stalls I'll coast to the side of the road, and it will fire up on the 2nd or 3rd try of turning the ignition. I have started it while still moving as well (2 or 3 turns of the ignition.) It usually doesn't take me more than 5-15 seconds to get her going again. ***UPDATE*** I think I may have figured out my problem. I just need some co-signers. While letting my car idle and checking for vacuum leaks (found none) I noticed the fuel pump sounded like it quit working for a split second. I wasn't sure, so I kept one hand on my fuel pump because I can feel it vibrate while its pumping fuel. While doing that I opened up my throttle for a few seconds, and I could feel my pump stop for a quick second, then begin pumping again. I'm going to buy a new pump tomorrow, and I'm hoping that cures my stalling issues. It does feel like a fuel starvation issue. Does it sound like I found my problem????
  14. Thanks for all the replies. I forgot to check for any vacuum leaks, so I'll do that. If I find none, I think I'm going to try replacing my electronic fuel pump and rubber fuel lines. Also my fuel pump is in my engine bay, I know its recommended for it to be close to the tank. Perhaps thats the problem. It's probably just coincidence, but before I left school today, I adjusted my idle mixture screws (opened them up a bit) and adjusted my rpm's from 800 to around 1000. Had no problems the whole way home unlike this morning when it stalled out on me 3-4 times.
  15. Forgot to mention I replaced the screen in the fuel tank last Summer. Hopefully it did'nt fall off when I reinstalled. I thought I ruled out the fuel pump since it's output was within normal range. Perhaps something is happening while on the road? My float has no cracks (plastic kind.) I'll check the float needle (real name escapes me right now.)
  16. Lately my car has been stalling out on me while underload. Usually while im in 2nd or 3rd gear with the rpm range between 3k-4k. The car idles just fine (@1k) and starts up rather quickly in the morning. Car has a single 45dcoe (jetted to recommendations from the faq), and electronic ignition (crane fireball). I used the search and read probably over 20 threads, and so far I've: *reset timing @ 1500rpms with 0 dwell *replaced fuel filter *checked fuel pump out take (within normal range.) *cleaned out my carb (all jets, tubes, filter, etc...) Im not sure what else to do. Could it be my idle mixture? I don't remember messing with it for awhile.
  17. I have no idea whose 02 that is, but my friend spotted the same Verona about a month ago at the oceanfront.
  18. Def pshoppe. The original photo was of that slammed e28 named "rusty."
  19. I think those might be 15x7 RA's. Ive seen them on vwvortex every now-and-then.
  20. These stickers aren't technically "on" my car yet, because I'm not sure where I'm going to place them. I'm trying to keep them from the period for the most part though. This sticker is the only one I've committed to so far. It's the skater in me I guess.
  21. Glad your sticking with those Ronals. One of the best wheels Ive seen for a flared 02.
  22. Are you willing to sell the tires separate? I've been searching for 205/60/13's for awhile now. Email me at jason @ noahlarmz.com
  23. If you check out that 1600, I'd take a look at the block and confirm. A lot of 1600s have been upgraded w 2002 engines.
  24. I'll check in I guess. Hi all from Virginia Beach.
  25. I saw your 02 on Rev earlier this week. Was wondering when you'd post here. Car looks great. I really like the bumper with air dam.
