  1. I saw your 02 on Rev earlier this week. Was wondering when you'd post here. Car looks great. I really like the bumper with air dam.
  2. NMNA. I wish these were street tires, but I figured someone around here would appreciate the heads up on this deal! BIN is pretty low. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-New-205-60-13-Toyo-Proxes-R888-Race-Tires-/400240146059?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5d302bf68b#ht_902wt_747
  3. Ray, No idea where the pictures originated from. I'd like to see the build too.
  4. Found these pics on a local car forum. Just thought I'd share.
  5. Thanks for compliment! Not sure where I'm going next. Maybe an Olive Drab two tone.
  6. Got around to taking some better photos today. Still a work in progress. I didn't like the ATS wheels fully painted, so I sanded down the lips and gave em a quick polish. Still need to get new tires, 185/55/13 looks silly. [/url]
  7. This story reminds me of the the Toyotas on Cyprus abandoned in 1974 (link below.) Very cool. I wish I had access to the display cabinet with what looks like an '02 Alpina Deko kit. http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/2011/07/25/more-nostalgic-toyotas-from-cyprus-un-buffer-zone/#more-16194
  8. It's going to be awhile before I can paint my car. Luckily I have a friend who has a sign shop, and he's hooked me up with some vinyl wrap for cheap. Did half of my car today in matte black. It's not perfect but looks better than a rattle can job. Plus I'm hoping it will preserve the Baikal paint I have now. I'll take some better photos in the future. For now here's a cell phone pic.
  9. Jayson Yea I love the flares. I have some pics in my project blog. It's still a work in progress. http://www.bmw2002faq.com/component/option,com_forum/Itemid,50/page,viewtopic/t,339727/highlight,/
  10. Here's the link to the CL ad. http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/pts/2536756997.html I have ManaMotorsports Alpina front flares on my 1602 and the quality was great. Communication could be better, but other than that can't complain.
  11. I think that might be a default photo some websites use for the '02 Ansa sport muffler.
  12. If I had the funds to paint my car I'd go with Tampico, or Bristol. I prefer Colorado over Inka. Golf and Mintgrun always stands out. I probably haven't been much help. LOL
  13. I've got the nameless rad and I like it, my engine runs a tad cooler than my previous (newish) 320 rad. I was able to mount it using my stock locations and had room to keep my stock fan.
  14. Was browsing the German 02 forum and found this thread. Immediately remembered this discussion and thought I'd share. Also depicts factory oil cooler setup (I assume.) http://forum.bmw-02-club.de/board_entry.php?id=122820
  15. Dope video. I wish Virginia Beach had "well worn" environments to use as backdrops for photos.
  16. Recieved my gaz pedal this week. I appreciate the extra decals you threw in. Thanks Lee!
  17. I was going to vote for A in sunlight and C around sunset.
  18. Just emailed you about the sway bar. Please respond to jason(@)noahlarmz.com, my email addy used to respond earlier is no longer in use. Thanks, Jason
  19. Yep you'll have to modify the housing to add a parking light. Many have come up with simple ways of doing it. Search "Euro AND Signal" - plenty of info on here.
  20. I'd like to get 65 + Shipping out of these flares. They've been used for about a year, have no cracks. Looks like they may have some hard water stains here and there. The front passenger flare was in an accident, and has some deep scratches that I've tried to capture in the last picture. It's still in great usable condition, these things are tough! Email me at jason(@)noahlarmz.com Paypal preferred. Shipping from 23464
  21. I instantly thought of this pig cheek when you posted the PR Alpina car! The photos are great. Thanks for sharing.
  22. I haven't gotten much done lately, but I've been thinking about paint and have done some color blocking. I think I've figured out which way I want to go. I borrowed a photo from a fellow FAQ'r (egas.) I'm going to stick with Baikal as my main color, and use glossy vinyl vehicle wrap for the white accents. The original color of my 1602 was Chamonix, so this will be sort of a tribute to its original state. Plus I think it looks good.
